I've had a painful elbow for the past couple of weeks - knew it was due to strain at work. Looked up on the net as we armchair physicans do and it looked to be something like tennis elbow. Have been resting it and soaked in a hot bath with muscle soothing crystals in it this morning. After the bath I decided not to start on the housework but to take myself out shopping, we needed vegies anyway. While there I passed on of those free 2 minute massage places so thought why not. The guy started on my shoulders and told me I was really tense, asked if I wanted a full neck and shoulder massage. I then endured an extremely painful massage, that strangely felt good - he used his elbows to really get in. While he did that I wondered if I should ask him to do something with my elbow, before I could he asked if I wanted to include my arms as well. He did a very good job, my elbow felt much better afterwards. I did get some retail therapy done, spent around $100 on clothes for myself. For that I got 2 tshirts, a pair of jeans, crop pants and a swimsuit. Very good value I think. I've just eaten lunch, dd and I are about to start on the housework. I need to get the family room, dining and kitchen looking reasonable this afternoon. |

You know that massage sounds great.. I love back rubs.. massages, etc.. I seen those at the mall & thought about it, but then again its just out where everyone can see you.. so I never have.. I think my son Jake & his wife Lisa have before, but not sure.. glad you had a great day~ |

I am paying for the massage now, I have really sore muscles across my shoulders. He told me they were full of tension and knots so got in really deep. The plus side is that they don't feel as tense as they were before. My elbow is feeling much better, doesn't hurt as much when touched, nor does it hurt so much to pick up a coffee cup. I am thinking of getting it done more often, have a friend who is a massage therapist think I might get her to do it. The swimsuit is a 2 piece, the top is long and covers the top of the knickers. It's actually quite flattering on, I could get away with wearing it out - DH didn't realise it was a swimsuit when I modelled the top for him. |
