Does anyone know if you can use synthetic hair for fusion extensions?  Will the hair hold up to the heat of the Fusion gun (to melt the keratin beads) or is it only for use with the 100% human hair wefts?

Synthetic hair will melt when heat is applied to it so it's better to use 100% human hair. Plus synthetic hair doesn't last long. You want to use good human hair that's gonna last especially when your spending the amount of money for fusion you should want the best.

Is Fusion still an in demand technique. With Lace Front Wigs becoming so popular, where are clients spending most of their money these days?

i think lace front wigs are going to take over. It is less work for almost the same amount of money. If you can sell the wig, put it on and style it your really going to increase your income big time.

Thank you all for your replies.  I will continue to use 100% human hair strands for my fusion needs.  I was just curious as the cost is high for this service and wanted to offer it to a broader clientele but if I must use human hair then the cost must remain the same.

It is easy to charge by the hour than a flat fee. Minimum $25-$75 per hour. Use your judgement and dont cheat yourself.
