This might not really be a vent, but its where it's supposed to be. I thought this was funny today. Today I stared at 6:30am with my last client to come at 11am. Every client but one was late and I had 5 the second and last were getting relaxers. I guess to justify there lateness they all came in with attitudes - boy was I tickled  ! After I fussed them out for coming in w/ an attitude, thinking thats going to make it ok with me, I made everybody pay a extra $5 - that why it was so funny! I told everyone of them you all got cell phones because I got the numbers, why you didn't call me - if the 6:30 called I could of called everybody else and they wouldn't of been late - think about it! Lateness really irritates me. Even though I work with a walk-in system, most of the time I know who's coming in. When I sign in someone for a haircut, and there is a color sitting there, this really wastes time when the haircut is late, and I'm waiting, and so is the color, and there is less than 2 hours before closing. One time, I just took the color that was waiting, and let the haircut that finally came in wait until I was done applying. There wasn't really a problem that time, and he knew he was late, and a pretty cool guy anyway. |
