What difference a year makes .. just last June Shawn was trying to sell his own house and totally convince that his life was going to suck forever! For those who weren't around for the whole story his former fiance had told him she didn't love him anymore the previous August which devastated my son .. at the time .. he was ( and is) a wonderful father who more or less raised Becky from Birth on his own .. where you seen shawn .. so was Becky , he never thought of himself it was always what was best for becky and what they could do together .. he never thought of going out with the guys or doing something on his own .. that was unthinkable for him . Then when this happened he was devastated , I remember telling him at the time (and yes I've reminded him lol) that he may not think so now but in a year you will not believe how great your life will be and that everything happens for a reason .. and so enter's "Jenny" almost one year exactly ! Yes I think it was destiny .. fate and as Garth Brook's once sang about "Unanswered Prayers" , it was Love at first site and what he thought was impossible became reality In alittle over two months Shawn and Jen will be getting married and this Story will have a "happily ever after " ending . Just when I was starting to feel old and getting cynical .. life kicked me in the butt and said "Knock if off!" lol.
Amen to that Marie! Life can't always be perfect .. but every once in a while we get those " almost perfect" days , and on these kind of days I feel very .. very blessed .
