Linda, it looks great!.  You and I have similar tastes.  Yes, the purple had to go.  Keep me posted on what else you do.

I couldn't sleep so here I am.  Going to Community Alliance today.  I look forward to going.  We are having a small thunderstorm here.  I love the rain, the smell and the sound.  I like it when the lights go out and I use candles.  I remember one time I woke up and the electricity was off,  I put two large candles in my sink in the bathroom.  Took my shower, put on my makeup.  I don't have a window in there for the light to come in.  Of course my coffee pot wouldn't work.  So I just had a couple of Pepsi's for some caffeine.  I enjoyed getting ready like that.  The lights came back on about a half hour before I had to leave.  I get up at 6:00 to have a couple of hours to get ready.  It gives me time to drink my coffee.  I can slowly get ready, have the TV on to listen to the news and the weather.  It is very quiet around here in the mornings.  I like that before I start my day.  Actually sometimes it is too quiet.  I miss my kids getting ready for school or work.  My youngest is 20 and he works at a car body shop.  His name is Matthew, the next one up is Sarah.  She works and goes to school.  Her and Patrick have Christopher, he will be a year old in December.  Then comes Brandy, she works and goes to school.  Her and David have Kaden, he is about 3 months old.  Brian is next, he also goes to school and works.  Him and Cory have Tayler who is nine.  They also have Morgan who is four.  The last one is Jill, she is home raising her two children.  Her and Jason have Jacob who is nine.  Also Jessica who is six.  Jill is the president of PTO at the kids school.  As you can see I am very proud of all my children.  Sarah is not sure what her career is going to be yet.  Brandy is going to school to help her when she takes the test to be a RN.  Brian is an electrician.  So far I have six grandchildren.  I love being a grandma.  I don't see my kids as much as I would like to.  With their schedule, they barely have time for each other right now.  Two cats are sleeping, the other one is looking out the window.  Their names are Serenity, Baby and Squeakers.  His name is that because he has a very strange meow.  I was on the phone with Jill one time, she asked what was that noise, I told her it was Squeakers.  I am going to go back to bed now.  Talk to you later.

Love ya, Cyn

Thanks Cyn! I can't take all of the credit here .. Jen (daughter-in-law) is wonderful at decorating .. yes .. I throw some stuff in here and there lol . Next we'll go to the "Man Cave" lol ... that's what we call my husband's room ... it's the one room he was allowed to decorate how ever he wanted(within reason) . You can see the family room(man cave) in the doorway . The carpet was torn out and replaced plus some nice added touches by Jen and me .. it was kind of fun lol. I'll take a picture of the "before and after shots tomorrow "
