I'm getting that message with the Hp that I just added lots of memory to, I think something in the disk drive is going .. it's not reading some of the software c.d.'s like it should but music c.d.'s are fine , I only get this message on startup .. then .. .. after awhile the normal desktop shows up . For becky's computer .. I thinking of getting the "red brick" to help it out , it's just so old and I'm thinking a external disk drive may be just the thing , all I gotta do is check the system requirements for it .. I know is compatable with Windows M.E. (that's what it's still running) . I have an external (H.P.) disk drive that I'm thinking of adding to the H.P. computer , I'm hoping it will help with whatevers going wrong with it ,I had it installed before but it took too much "space" so I uninstalled it .. now that I have over 700 mb's of space , that shouldn't be a problem. I got two computers ... you'd think I could get one to reallly rock lol. |
