Dear MSN, I have to thank you for the wonderful service you have provided for my MSN group. I just couldn't be more impressed with the fine features and great tools you have incorporated into it. I love those blank white pages. I look forward to getting those; they look so pretty on my new screen. And the "Hmm, we can't find that page" and the "This is a members-only area" displays show me that you are right there on top of things. I'm especially impressed with the blank white squares with the red Xs on them. Of course, I would definitely prefer to see those over any cute picture of a precious pet or new grandchild, and I am glad to see you anticipating my preferences like that. I'm especially quite happy with the features and extra pages on the left sidebar. Those are wonderful! Maybe one day I'll get to use them. Until then, it's nice to look at. The updates to the member list is quite unique, and you have given me quite a rewarding experience in reducing all of us to members or otherwise demoting my managers (including myself). I'm looking forward to losing lots of members because of this amazing feature. I have to admit, perhaps you folks know people much better than I and by reducing all of us to members at one time or another, you might have saved people from wreaking havoc with my group. It's nice to know you're looking out for us. And boards getting cluttered up with old posts simply does not happen. I am so impressed. Whole weeks of posts are gone from time to time, keeping the boards neat, clean, and, well, interesting. Then miraculously, these posts reappear! I don't know how you do this; it is truly outstanding. I was also quite favorably impressed with your decision to remove group chat rooms. I'm sure you knew that it would be a rewarding and life-enriching experience to have to incorporate another chat program into its place, and we are certainly grateful to you for that. You have taught me patience and new skills; waiting for an MSN page to open gives me a chance to multi-task. I can run errands, do two loads of laundry, mop the kitchen floor and clean the bathroom while my dual-core processor burns itself out trying to open a page. Our local computer guy is also very impressed with your service as well; he is getting a lot of business. Because of your amazing accomplishments, many people think there is something seriously wrong with their computers and he is now able to invest in two vacation homes instead of just one. One of the better features of MSN is the truly awesome disappearing message. When I click on "Send Message" by God it gets sent all right! Wow! Yes, it's sent quickly and goes so far I can't find it, nor do I ever see it again. That is astounding, and so thoughtful of your software programmers to include this. Another thing I must applaud you for is how easy it really is for phishers and hackers to get in groups and hijack browsers, steal passwords, and mess up the settings. We all understand what a difficult job that can be, so it was really very considerate of you to make it so convenient for them. Anyone who has ever been a victim of ID theft certainly appreciates this feature. Your customer service is exemplary. It is good to know that although you are diligently working on the problem, there is nothing wrong with MSN and it's my computer or IP. At times it's only taken you three weeks to send me that form letter, and I couldn't be happier. I was especially impressed with the one you sent me in Spanish, which was a very nice touch. In all, I am so satisfied with MSN I just can't say enough about it. I will be deleting my MSN group and moving it to a forum where unfortunately I will have to go without all these wonderful features you offer. Somehow, I'll make do, and in the meantime, the money I will be saving on tranquilizers and alcohol will go toward that cruise in the Caribbean I've had my eye on. Wonderful, I could not have said it better myself. I was wondering , with MSN being such a great provider, that maybe a membership fee would statisfy them, as we all know the almighty dollar my help them lighten up a bit what do you think? Tessy |

It's a good idea Tessy but "my opinion" is .. they know these groups are "dinosaurs" .. outdated and not keeping up with the times , think about it .. "My Space" "Tag" and others ... you can add music ,slideshows .. all kinds of neat gadgets .. and these groups by comparison are like watching grass grow lmao.I get the feeling they are "phasing" these groups out by making them down and out boring so they can annouced some great replacement that will only cost you (fill in amount) . They don't seem to care that we can't update our pages or that taking our chat's away was a big mistake , they don't alow javascript or embedded music .. so I hope I'm wrong but as these problems with groups drag on and on .. I don't think I am . |
