1. Undisciplined There is no attention. With the great vibrations of honking horns and the roar of the engines in the air, the trucks go by. They run over mountains, valleys, across entire continents and occasionally other vehicles and pedestrians, farther and farther out into the world. Trucks come and trucks go. This is hardly noticed by Evonne as she drives wildly past. She is on her own path, although she occasionally gives the great metal beasts a wave when she recognizes one. |

2. Discipline Begun Evonne finally really and truly notices a truck for what seems like the first time since it sticking out of the side of her own vehicle. The truck leaves tracks, memories and signs all over her weenie little transportation device. Even on herself, she sees the signs of the truck not having to look much further than her own nose. This is a much better outcome than expected allowing opportunity and perhaps more time to work on trucks. This truck is lead off complete with a special escort. Evonne's vehicle is firmly attached to a tow right by the nose. It would surly buck and struggle in strange ways otherwise. Evonne, when given time to contemplate the state of her own earthly vehicles, realizes they are really whipped and truly beaten. The time of contemplation has just begun since every time she tries to run away, she falls over. Still she tries to run away often anyway without any useful results. |

3. In Harness Gradually getting into repair and the miracles of new frame straightening machinery, Evonne's vehicles slowly repair with the help of others. The machines no longer buck and lie sadly on their sides. The rebuilt or healing vehicles are now content to travel to physician's offices sometimes taking routes which turn in one direction only. Evonne holds the steering wheel tightly in her hand never letting it go, almost unconscious of what fatigue is, since most days are spent sleeping. Trucks are now perceived everywhere. |

4. Faced Round After long days of training and physical therapy the result begins to show and Evonne can face both directions on most days. This is done with a nature so wild and ungoverned that sometimes Evonne makes another trip to the physician because she has returned to looking in only one direction. When released, she has become gentler and wears a goofy look for a few days due to the relief and has another nap. The tender is not yet at full confidence, and she invests in a home traction unit. |

5. Tamed Under the green willow tree... that is not too close to the septic system... and by the ancient mountain stream... which also does not interfere, Evonne is set at liberty to pursue her own pleasures as long as they are not any more physically demanding than shuffleboard and Parcheesi. At the eventide when a grey mist descends on the pasture, Evonne goes back to bed with several cats following her for no reason at all. |

6. Unimpeded On the verdant field Evonne contentedly lies idling her time away, writing silly stuff due to the inability to get full employment because of time off from work combined with the downturn in the economy. No whip is needed now, nor any kind of restraint; the realization is that these things are ever-present in the world should one ever have the need to suddenly require one or the other. Why bother carrying either? They just take up room and carrying all that stuff can add to shoulder and back problems later among other things. Evonne sits leisurely under the pine tree, howling alternating incantations of peace and prosperity, overflowing with joy once forgetting about the bank account balance. |

7. Laissez Faire The spring stream in the evening sun flows languidly along the willow-lined bank, In the hazy atmosphere the meadow grass is seen growing thick; because Evonne still is not quite able to mow the lawn or do any landscaping just yet. When hungry she grazes, when thirsty she quaffs, as time sweetly slides telling stories about never mowing the lawn in paradise. She still sleeps hours not worrying about anything that goes on about her. |

8. All Forgotten The vehicle all in white is now surrounded by the white clouds. The woman is perfectly at his ease and semi-care-free still participating in regular maintenance and replacment... So is her companion who has the first starter replaced at 100,000 miles and the first brake change at 120,000 miles, apparently neither stopping or starting (much). The white clouds penetrated by the moon-light cast their white shadows below. The white clouds and the bright moon light each following its course of movement towards beginnings finally ending and endings becoming beginnings once again until it is hard to say exactly where one is. As the old saying goes, "Just keep driving." |

9. Solitary Moon Although Evonne can now look left and right, nowhere are the great beasts with horns to be seen. Evonne the truckherder is master of her time. She does not know how this happens but that's that way it is... well maybe when she actually becomes a master that will be different. She is a solitary cloud wafting lightly along the mountain peaks. Clapping her hands he sings joyfully in the moon-light since she no longer requires 16 hours of sleep a day, but remember a last wall is still left barring her homeward walk. What is it with this freggin wall thing!? Stoopid freggen wall. |

10. Both Vanished Both the woman and the vehicles have disappeared, no traces are left. Since this has not happened yet, at least not for more than a short time, I always have fun hoping this means they are on exotic vacations and have a little more cash to go around. That is just for fun though. (Cheeze. It must be nice to be enlightened, sipping brightly colored drinks along with good-looking and loving mates on location. Giggle... snort. ) The bright moon-light is empty and shadowless with all the ten-thousand objects in it; If anyone should ask the meaning of this, behold the lilies of the field and its fresh sweet-scented verdure. The lawn has been mowed, the yard landscaped, the vehicle no longer needs a new sensor and the check engine light has gone back off... as if it was never on at all. |
