I was driving my little one to his OT appointment when he told me that my grandfather is very sad because my mom (his daughter) hasn't come to visit him in a long time (at the cemetary). "she hasn't come to do the flowers yet".  I asked him what he (my grandfather's ) wants...So my son answered "all he wants is everyone's love.  That's all".  I asked him how he knew and he said "oh, well isn't that what everyone wants?"... So we got on a little discussion about seeing spirits and I asked him if he does (he has already told me he does) and he answered a flat "no".  Then he hung his head down low and said "that's not true mommy.  I do see them".  I then told him that I too see them and it's a perfectly normal thing for us.  The he said "mommy each time I look at that tree over there, a man comes to sit next to me". He then began to describe this man (I have no idea who this man is or who the hosue/tree belongs to).  But the manner in which he described the expereince was very accurate as to how we often receive messages or visits.  I asked him if he knew what hte man wanted and he said no.  So I told him that he has the choice to accept them or not and if for any reason he wishes them to leave, all he has to do is ask.  He smiled and we went on our merry way....
Just thought I'd share!

Martine

I am so glad he has you for a parent Martine - and know that he will always have you to guide and help him.

By the way I am sure Erika (sorry Erika but you are soo good at these things) would make you up a page in our Blessed Children section to record your memories together

Martine, can I ponder on the photo of your son and your Bella, to see if I can get anything.  I was so drawn to him when I was looking at the pic.

Hi Martine

How lovely, children are so natural  about it all.

When my stepdaughter, Helen, was four years old she brought a photo she had found in a box to show her Dad.  She told him it was her Nanna and when he asked her how she knew that she told him that her Nanna often comes to sit on her bed and talks to her.  Bill's mother died long before Helen was born and he did not display any photo's of his mother nor has he shown her any.

Thanks for sharing your story.

love and light

Linda xx

He has the look of an angel - bless him.  Have had a look at the pic Martine and I can see two children either side of his head (their head and shoulders only.)

That would make sense Polly......My sister has seen two small boys playing in his room.  She was stuck sleeping over in a snowstorm one night and slept in his room.
One little boy was named joseph and the other she can't remember.....They spoke to her however, she can't rememer what they said!

Thanks Erika for my thread and thank you all for sharing...

Martine
