Whilst I have had to stay away from the PC (and I am not supposed to be online at the mo, but I can't help myself, I miss my online family too much, and anyways Barry isn't here to make me behave LOL) I have been trying to think up something that we could all do together without having to be online to do it - that way timezone differences and such wouldn't affect anyone, and those with busy schedules might find it easier too.
So here's my potty idea: (A once every couple of months thing...)
We could call it 'A Spiritual Walk in our Inner Garden'
Here's how I see it could work:
On a given day, we all give up 15 minutes at some time during that 24 hour period hours whereever we are in the world, go outside and try to really connect with nature, we could do this by sitting quietly somewhere, walking round a wood, orpark, or even just sitting in a pretty spot in a car.
The idea being that by consicously going away from the norm of day to day life, and not needing the focus of being inside with a candle for meditation, you are inviting the energy of the universe to help your connection to spirit and helping keep yourself calmer than when you formally meditate or read for someone (I get nervous too, even after years of doing it).
We could post up a mantra/small protection prayer so that we are all calling in the same energy. Something simple maybe.....
'We thank Mother Earth for her protection and for keeping us grounded as we like minded souls as to be shown the true beauty of our world.'
Then when go back inside our houses/office we journal anything we expereinced straight away, the old fashioned way in pen or pencil on paper. We could set up a message board so that as people have time, they can come in and share their experiences.
This way there is no disruption if anyone is late, I mean heck 24 hours is a long time to find a small 15 minute segment in
What do you all think?
Love and light
