Firstly, Hello, A little about me: I am now 27 and never really thought much about spirituality or religion, I had my beliefs and that was that. About 18 months ago that all changed and I found myself surrounded by lots of people who were very spiritual in one way or another, and made me very curious indeed. I think the turning point was when my girlfriend of 8 years at the time decided to tell me she was phsycic and had been all her life, and proceeded to give me a message from my Gran, which had me in tears. I since then have been attending a spiritualist church on and off, and also phycic development classes and meditating etc. After a bad experience I stopped meditating but am still interested and think it is time I started again with my phycic development. Some of the experiences I have had in the last 2 years have completely changed my life in more ways than one, and made me realise a lot about myself and what I want to do with my life. I used to work as an electronics engineer and now I have quit that job and started at university studying psychology and psychotherapy. I was helping people in my last job in a way, by solving their problenms with equipment, but I now want to make more of a difference to peoples lives and be able to help them in otherways, counciling etc. I have had quite a few readings in the past couple of years and been told more than once that I am a healer, I can understand that as I have always had a driving urge to help people in distress, more than most other people would I think. I had an interesting angel reading last weekend at a phycic fair, where again I was told lots of things that had come up in previous readings, but also that I am a crystal child, and I am here to help indigo children that are rapidly decending upon this earth plane more and more frequently. I am interested in finding out more about "crystal children" if anybody here can shed a little more light on this for me. I should have asked at weekend really, but you look back on a reading and think of a million questions you should have asked, well I do anyway. Thanks for reading my ramblings, Simon |

 Thankyou for the introduction hun, really appreciate it when our new members take the time to do this !! We love to be osey!!! Ive heard the difference between indigo and crystal children describes as indigo are the 'system busters' indigo children are much more ermmmm (trying to think of appropriate word!!) bouncy with there energy!! Where as crystal children are much more the peacemakers, basically looked as as the anchoring of energy, i dont if ya read anything about indigo children but alot of research was done both medically n from the spiritulist .. both of which came up with their alternative names, but the symptoms remained for the most of t the same ofcourse, so the only difference in there 'diaggnosis' if you like was that they interpretated its origins differently! Alot of these children are given the title (and unfortunately medication) for the so called 'disorder' of ADD/AHAD... whilst so far it seems research is showing for the crystal children more are born with Autism.. (I work in mental health myself and with my spiritual beliefs being along familiar trains of thought here i have always somewhere believed that alot of our mental health is incorrectly interpretated!) But essentially to sum it up its said over the past 4 decades or so, and there is also a post about conception/childbirth and soul in another forum, which kinda links into this... as its about taruama before conception, during or just after and how that when this happens, some spirits withdraw into them selves as safety, which often spills out strongly in their personalitys even as adults, meaning we can appear far away, and zone out of the world almost very easily, by the practice weve had from withdrawing back to spirit from such a young age, it might interest ya and give ya sum thoughts!! Reason i went off into that is because thats very similiar to our recognition of autism now, and will be a big trait of the crystal child usually, not one for spotlights, or living in business, more a very sensitive thoughtful urge to heal and help ppl life! Some of their other traits are said to be needing space on their own, needing to be in nature, plain not uderstanding anomosity between each other, finding it all just madness to be like that,, an intense love of nature animals and children, even thngs like liking to shower alot because of the water element, being in comfy clothes. but with a crystal child there is always magic and energy around them. Very very very very sensitive souls, trying to anchor some love in this world. Feel free to share ya experience here with us that often helps to know ya amongst ppl who have had if not the same no doubt very similiar experiences along the way, were all here to help each other develop and by sharing we find we always get what we need, I hope ya enjoy the group and look forward to ctaching you arund the boards soon! Hi Simon Welcome to the group and I hope you find the answers you are looking for here. D has an excellent section on Indigo Adults and Children and there are links to a site which has information on Crystal children as well. You might find it helpful - I hope so. Hi simon, welcome to the group! I found your post really intersting, i hope you find some anwers soon, but keep us posted! I've heard more about indidgo children so to hear about crystal people now has me interested to learn more. Good you finding all this out at a young age as you have plenty of time to develop, i'm just starting out too but getting a lot of "action" around me just now, being 22 i feel like i have so much ahead of me!! Firstly thanks to everyone for your replies and your kindness, I have been searching on the internet and been looking on this forum as regards crystal and indigo children and found some very interesting stuff to read, although all the information seems to say crystal children were born from around 2000 onwards, but I suppose that doesn't matter, all I hear in my head is "you are, stop doubting". As you are all so nosey, lol, I do have a problem distinguishing my own "inner dialogue" from that which could be from somewhere else, if you follow me. Sometimes I've been sitting there thinking about things and something has popped in my head and I just knew it wasn't me, but this hasn't been often. This may not be the right part of the forum to post this on but here goes anyway, lol. When I did start becoming interested in developing, shortly afterwards I found myself in a very bad place, I had split with my g/f, away from my children, and most of the time I was by myself, I spent a lot of time meditating and reading books on psycic development, and I think I went a little overboard because it was pretty much all at once I started to have very intense experiences. One of which was at a friends house, he has been a friend for about 20 years (a long time seeing as I am only 27) but is now a heroin addict and I had been doing my best to try and help him to change his life, as it seemed he really wanted to. Anyway, sat in his front room there was a knock at the door and one of his friends came round (who was also an addict). Even before he entered the room I was in I was overcome by what I can only call hatred, and when he did come into the room, I felt my face change and all I can desccribe it as is it felt like I could have burnt a whole straight through this guy with my eyes. I had to force my self to look away from him as I could have got myself into trouble there, lol. It lasted for a few minutes and then dissapeared. I told my friend what I had felt about this guy and needless to say it didn't go down too well. I was so overwhelmed I don't think I explained it as subtley as I could have, lol. Anyway I had to tell my ex about this experience and basically what it had come down to was my friends gran (who is in spirit) had put these feelings onto me, as she detested his friend as he was making his drug habbit worse. Also I found out from my friend later he had actually overdosed and died in his friends house (if you still follow me), and now thought of this guy as a great friend for bringing him back round again. My ex girlfriend, who is mentioned in my first post, is a really excellent phycic and has spoken to my friends gran, who said it was her who saved her grandson by putting all the energy she had into him to stop him fully passing away, and basically she didn't know how many more times she would have the energy to do this for him. Anyway like I said, I think I should have put this in the experiences section of the forum, but it is here now, lol. This was my first major experience I have had, and as you can probabally tell, I can waffle on for Britain. I just think it is so nice for me to be able to share these things with people, I have tried to tell someone once, and they just thought I was bonkers, I could be, who knows, lol |

Hello Simon, Welcome to the group...I am fairly new as well and love it here!! My husband is Indigo and has many books on Indigo and Crystal children...we have found Doreen Virtue has many books out on the subject and are a very easy read. We are also members of a on-line news letter that focuses on this subject alot!! I can't remember the name of it at this moment but will look it up for you and send you a link....it is very informative!! I have so many thoughts swirling in my head right now of things I could/should tell you about what I do know...but it is all jumbled right now and I do not want to overwhelm you with rambling...lol So I am just going to suggest finding a book called "The Care and Feeding Of Indigo Children" by Doreen Virtue. My husband loved the book...said it shed light on alot of things for him and also deals with Crystal children in it. Hopefully that can answer some of your questions for you. Hi Stacey, and thanks for the post, I must admit it kind of took me by suprise, I have never been told I was a crystal child before until two weeks ago, I have a lot of card decks by Doreen Virtue and a book called Angel numbers I think, but I will look out for the book you have suggested. Not really wanting to advertise but there is a lot of her stuff on amazon.com, which is where most of my cards have come from. Simon No problem, thats what we are here for in group... Most of my Angel cards and Arch angel cards are from Doreen Virture...and have the books you mentioned as well. I get my books etc from a wonderful little store here in town....they have everything...books, rocks and gems, cd's for meditation etc. My husband used to work there...we love to shop there but we also just like to go there and chat with the owner if we are feeling down or confused etc! We definatly owe some of our recent development to him and are grateful we have such a shop in town!
