Tribal War

So you think you're so cool?
But let me tell you fools:
You don't even reach the cavemen
You're a shame for the modern men
Like divine animals they killed to survive
You kill for ideas, now open your eyes!

You denounce the cavemen savage,
Well, we're ashamed of your ravage
You think you fight for a great cause
But it's just a lost cause
You fight against windmills
And we're tired of you being ill
You're reached by what we call madness
For us all it creates sadness
We're tired of your paranoia
Conviction and mania

We don't want no tribal war
We don't want no tribal war

You search God?
Well let me tell you fools:
You picked up all the wrong tools,
No USA or Arab world devil
You always have to think evil!
No catholics or muslims guilty
Your madness brings in mental slavery
There's just lost souls, just lost rules
Just wrong thoughts, and just wrong tools

We don't want no tribal war
We don't want no tribal war

Well I have pity of you big fat ogres
Can't even hold your pride or honour
Can't hold your morbid pulsions
While we testify your worldwide exhibition
Well children! go play on another playground!
We don't want a bent world, we want it round!
Play your foolish games elsewhere,
'Cause nothing of what you preach is fair

We don't want no tribal war
We don't want no tribal war
We don't want no tribal war
We don't want no tribal war

very enjoyable, maat.

one line troubled me:
Well I have pity of you big fat ogres
i thought it should read:
Well I take pity on you big fat ogres

other than that,
quixotic...
You fight against windmills

yes, indeedy.  thanks for posting.

overall very interesting but i feel there is something lacking and the need for ryme overrides the full expressivness of the poem
