He talks about dietary protein quite a bit. It varies, but many Americans, for example, are eating a lot of high quality protein. Instead of being low in methionine, they are more likely not ingesting enough gelatin. I noticed that my fingernails went from being soft and flexible to being hard and "snappy" after I decided to supplement with a little gelatin each day (for several months). I also had tendonosis in my shoulder that lasted for years until I supplemented with gelatin for a while. |
