A VERY WARM WELCOME TO ALL NEW MEMBERS.

Just a couple of points on using message boards may help you all.
  1. If you are receiving messages in your email, please DO NOT reply to them using your email....BECAUSE Your email address, and the email address of the member you reply to will be visible to non-members. For obvious reasons this is not aceptable. Please reply to any message by coming into VG and clicking reply above the message you wish to answer.
  2. To change your settings so you don't get every message posted to your email ( 250-300 a week ! ) go to 'Members Tools' in the left hand menu and click on 'Check your E-mail settings' then click on the 'On the web' circle under the messages header. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Save Changes'

I hope this helps

This means that if you put your email address into a message some of the more unscrupulous users of the internet (spammers and hackers and worse) may see your email address and use it to send you allsorts of unwanted mail.

A much better way to exchange emails is to use the chatroom which only members have access to. The chatroom is always open to use. At the moment we are using "Sweetpea
