Hi Trinity and Switch, Lovely as this weather is ...it is just wrong.
I should be standing in mud, ice and snow right now. The forest should be soaked and the river running full.
It is not good to have so many "nice days" because we will have major drought later.
We need the water and snow pack. The trees need it.
Last week we were having a major ice storm and this week it is Florida with the ice..dud. Some one up there must not like oranges. Dang Aliens and there weather junk.
Right now as I look at the silhouettes in the sinking sun, I am thinking about the fellow that was just attacked by the lion. That is a bit farther north but those same creatures have passed through these shades and shadows hundreds of times. They are out there...always.
We have a lot of cats here. At least one is shot every year...eating our dogs or other domestic animals.
Also they have made attacks on neighbors, although most men carry heavy weapons in the wilder woods surrounding the houses.
I have a healthy fear when I must walk the trails alone. Just thinking about this event, I miss my rotts and our fearless walks any where we wanted. My silly little traveling pup would just be snack.
Lions, tigers, bears or home invaders. I guess it really matters not where we are when ol' bear comes <so to speak.
So, You guy have any sunsets where you live??
