Climb a Mountain.
and eat a cloud

I guess eating out of the slag of my shirt is plate enough for a natural girl.
However; it looks much like the lakes, rivers and streams of Mount. Lassen and Shasta as they reflect the lovely soft blue and lavender flowers of spring.
We all know that just below that peaceful surface lies molten lava. ..like me.
And that glorious stack of sweet and sour rubble goodies can blow a few  golden nuggets my way. Some folks have been said to walk a mile for a camel, but I will ride six hundred miles for a good adventure with friends.

I think we may need to send Dinner Invitations

Come and Get It

Where is Peppermint Pattie, do ya think she has too much her plate?
She probable likes live food, something wiggly.

And that exotic Switch? He is always a mouth full of fun.
I bet he is a chicken man....legs and breast with good gravy on the side.

If folks don't come to this gobblin' goop party,

I will just have to eat their portions.

With or with out them...

Great idea for a thread.

It was the month of April
and spring was peeking thru,
I went out to the Art Works board
and ... I was looking for you.

And there,  you sat posting
totally in the nude,
I'd tell you how it affected me,
but afraid it might sound rude.

Can't tell you what I saw
or even what I thought,
Too busy trying to contain myself
in these new jeans I bought.

Good Morning WSAM....

Switch I  Love the poetry.
I know you were a fool back in April, but did ya get   yet?
Maybe we could do something fun...oh you know, like,
go to the Hard Rock Cafe and get stoned. heheh

Speaking of Stoned...and sinnin' and all that stuff that goes together.

I have a real plate full these days and I'm  just fed up with all the Hard Times.
So, I have expressed my thoughts and feeling with the symbolism of this stone cold composition.

In self consolation I say; "It is a natural thing to have hard times in life.  And during those times we must feed on the illusions."

This found sculpture combines the elements of stone, steel, wood and glass.  All difficult to digest. If you want to read me RANT:>message 30

Meat and potatoes and ice are natural stone.
The plate is 2000 yr. old myrtle wood.
Pig on box "above it all" is hand labored on pine wood.
Antique Gavel is of Black Oak hardwood
Wine glass is from graduation celebration
Sweet Treat underglass is empty
Big Knife is Necessary

Perhaps they were created to feed mankind Stone Soup.

I sat this sculpture up in show and heated the meat stone first.. it was lots of fun to watch the viewers touch the rock and be surprised to feel it warm.

So Ok, today I will tell you about the dude that like to eat babes.

i guess it is ok, since I seem to be dinning alone.

Ready ???

 Sensous Food of the Gods

Today my plate is filled with Sensuous delights.   Again, I visited the fields of the gods of old and sought the precious flower of pleasure and erotic longing.

As I gaze upon the soft silvery foliage standing tall in the sun and lusted after the heart of the erotic fruit, the myth of Goddess Cynara fills my mind.

Oh!,  the desire of Jupiter is fresh in my most ancient memories and in my minds eye I see the fatal lighting bolt that brought poor Cynana to her fate on earth.

This most beautiful  and enchanting daughter of man sensuously bewitched and grasped power over the God Jupiter himself.

He sought her with his heart and she succumbed to him not.  She requested first  to become a divine being also, and after being granted this wish she escaped him by returning to Earth.

Oh!, his rejection was angrily revenged. With a mighty lighting bolt he transformed the most beautiful and sensuous goddess into the first mythical Artichoke plant.  Thus, so as to feast upon her pleasures for ever more.

Some believe the artichoke to be an aphrodisiac, others believe in its powers in medicinal and therapeutic effects. And the heart contains cynarin, which stimulates the taste buds, and enhances the flavor of foods.  If the maiden flowering is missed, in her places stands a most beautiful flower that will endure time.

Plus you can tell I had a pretty slow day and need to jazz up my inner view of life.
