Long time no see.  Am at uni again and find it interesting that whenever I have to find a new poet to bring to class that invariably on just opening the page of their book the poem is about the art of poetry, the struggle of the poet etc.  Have done a few myself. Can't remember who it was but roughly 16th century english poet wrote a poem to future poets, encouraging them to ignore the essentially fascile non productive nature of being a poet and to just do it.  It helped me greatly.  Jen would probably know the poet.  All my books are in boxes at the moment or I would look it up and post it.

 

Wish me luck finding a house to rent....5 months and still no luck.
