I'm going to try and move the 4 WSAM groups to Aimoo... BUT ... there is a problem.

Aimoo has the same rating code as MSN and if there is content that is considered adult, the group has to be private. (I checked)

Being private won't work for WSAM groups, because parts of the paper is in all 4 groups.

I've been working on consolidating, but GAWD,,, the problems I'm running into are almost overwhelming... If I move 1 group, the pictures will fall out of the remaining groups.

SO... moving 'Key Note' 1st. probably in a few days...

then moving 'WSAM'... probably next week...

then 'wit and sarcasam' the back up group...

then Key NoteG...

In other words... moving one then checking to see what's missing and replace it... then moving another and checking to see what's missing and then replace it...

See what I'm saying?

Archiving is only buying me a little time, until I can get it all moved.

I wasn't bright enough to think ahead to everything being temporary on the internet.

Of Special Importance To Members

Aimoo does not go into the pictures albums... So if there are pictures you want to keep in your photo albums... go to the testing board and post your pictures on a thread. That way when their bots go thru WSAM... your pics will be photographed and stored in the archives.

Switch I know you are working hard at getting all of this together before it is gone. I'm not sure where you have checked, but I am on two different groups and content does not seem to be an issue at all (trust me on this one).

What I'm not sure of is wether or not you can transfer stuff there as I've never been a manager of any.

We've got a place to post in 'After Dark' ... What I'm looking for is a place to archive the groups... I'm a member of a group on Yuku... but the group isn't active.. so can't get in as a member to check their options.

Since you have an active membership in a Yuku group... >>> Will you check to see if they archive msn groups and if so... will they look the same as they do here.????

Aimoo archives look at exact and are at the bottom of the new forum. Goth moved her group and I checked how they archived... Looks really good.

The problem is this... Aimoo is a chineese company. There is a communication problem in some areas. Wrote them a month ago... explained this situation. Took them 2 weeks to answer and it was like going to MsDonald's, ordering by number and asking for something not listed in that number to be added.

They seem to be nice, helpful and eager ... but can't make decisions outside the box. That's understandable in an organization, but frustrating if you're dealing with a setup like this.

If you agree to check into it, it will have to be done quickly. Not only is time running out, but there's over a 100 thousand groups on MSN all trying to move ... everything is backlogged.
