The following is a letter I received in the year 2,000. I had been researching unexplained occurences and met this man at a party of mutual friends. We discussed briefly my research and he indicated, he'd had a strange experience. However, he didn't want to discuss it at the party. He said he would write it down and mail it to me. A few months passed and a letter came. The contents are below, exactly as he wrote it. Dear Tom, In regards to your inquiry... When I talk to a person, I like to look them in the eyes. Some people are uncomfortable with eye contact and I always thought it was because, they considered it too intimate or they were shy. Anybody that would not look at me, when I was talking to them... gave me the inpression of being sneaky or "up to something." About 3 or 4 years ago, I had an experience that made me re-evaluate this perception. Telling you now, this is freaky and if someone had told me this exact story, I would wonder what they had been snorting. It is a true story and it happened to me. |

Actually it does. Ice packs and eye salve seems to break up the connection. |

it's interesting tht you direct me here. Look for a work of fiction, somewhat similar, in the days coming; don't worry, it was writted long ago. |

Also, look for a story, I think it's In Skeleton Crew, a collection of short stories, by Stephen King, called "The Library PoliceMan," though the creature, or concept of the creature is repeated/featured in other stories/novels I believe it is central here (just search "library policeman" and Stephen King). It's a surprisingly similar and when I read your case file I immediately thought of it but did not want to offend you or make you question the validity of your research (see next paragraph). I want to say that the "vampire" in question feasts on emotions, namely Fear. I believe that fiction and fact hold surprising similarities, relating to the age old ? of "does art imitate life or vice versa" and either way which came first the chicken or the egg... and I might also hold that Stephen King has some ability much as Isaac Assimov and other Sci-Fi er's to see future... if you don't believe me read The Bachman Books again by Stephen King namely, for the purposes of this conversation The Running Man wherein the main character @ the end of the story flies a jet airliner into the top of the Broadcasting Companies Bldg. (Rage and The Long Walk are my favorite short novels held in said Bachman Books). *Correction: "The Library PoliceMan" is held in Four Past Midnight but still, pick up The Skeleton Crew for stories "Mrs. Todd's Shortcut", "The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands", and "The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet". |

Stephen King couldn't write a successful ending to a story, if his life depended on it. Climax Interuptus. He writes so good, up until a conclusion is called for and then it's some supernatural something that did it. predictable. I've been sucked into reading anything he writes for the last time. On this subject, I've read books with something similiar and seen movies. With so much out there on the subject, it makes me think that more than one person has experienced something like this. Where else would they get the idea and be able to describe it so well. Scared to talk about it? I don't blame you. Instead, write a book and label it fiction. Others who have eperienced something will find it and know, they aren't alone. |

When I was a kid, there was a school teacher that really gave me the creeps. Never was in his class, but walking past him in the halls gave me a nasty feeling. I wondered if he was in the closet, but he had a wife and a couple of kids. His children were very pale and sweaty looking. Quiet youngsters, who kept to themselves. The wife was the same way and acted like she was afraid of him. He was fired from the school, after an incident with a sophmore. He kept the kid after school and was scolding him. The door was open and people passing by, so it wasn't a sexual assault. The kid's mother was waiting outside, as she picked him up after school and drove him to a part time job. She just happened to go inside to get a drink from the water fountain, just outside of this teacher's door. As she walked by, she saw her son gripping the edge of the desk to keep from falling and he had soiled himself. The teacher was on the other side of the desk, leaning forward and talking in a low voice. She called to her son and he broke out in hysterical sobs. It took a trip to the emergency room to calm him down. They called the police, but nothing came from that. The teacher hadn't actually touched the boy, but within the week he was relieved of his duties. The kid was out of school for about 6 weeks. It was an odd thing, because he had gone out for football and made the team. Everybody assumed that the teacher had "messed with him" at another time and he was scared at the confrontation. I'm from a small town and there was a lot of speculation about this. The kid went from being a popular outgoing sort, to withdrawn and pale. Some kind of trauma took place. |

I am sorry but all post's with the Wolf eye had to be deleted. One reason is they are, what is called, Hot-Linked from and educational site - utah.edu Hotlinking is considered as bandwidth theft and highly frowned upon and can even lead to prosecution in some cases. The only way you may hotlink an item is if it is from your own PERSONAL server. The other reason is the use of the religious symbols, although anyone's particular belief in certain religions is totally acceptable and even commendable when one stands true to their particular belief. In a group format such as ours with the wide variety of people & beliefs, posting symbols repeatedly can easily be misconstrued by others as one trying to force a belief system on others. To avoid this it is better that they be used only in conjuction with a story being told or things of that nature. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Sincerely, Ranae' (Assitant Manager WSAM) | |

Switch - I happened to hear an interview with this author last month. You may be interested in her books and possibly her singing and other projects as well. I'm planning on picking up some of each, but if you'd like to investigate... (for all I know she may be a member on WSAM someplace... I'd be happy for her company and insight - fascinating woman to listen to) -O'R. |
