Thanx for the link here.  Really interesting.  However, I don't really feel qualified to comment.

P3...
I see your scientific background hard at work, esp now that you reveal your training.  I'm a lit person...therefore naturally touchy feely right?  lol...I understand the post-enlightenment bent to want to 'prove' things...but as my favorite saying goes...'facts, like wigs for men, are inventions of the 17th century'.

I have a good friend who's a Psychologist, head trauma specialist actually, and it's interesting to hear his explanations for things like deja vu.  I have them, have had them as long as I can remember, but one popular explanation is that deja vu are mini-strokes that cause a disruption in the time that you sense something and the time that your brain registers something.  In that lapse, there is a sense of experiencing something twice (forgive my oversimplistic reinterpretation...at least it's not a limerick).  Maybe.  But if that's the explanation, I've had some strokes that lasted for years.

We are, in a sense, at the mercy of our powerful enigmatic brains...so much yet unknown...how fascinating though.  And now I border on the discussion of perception and reality...

Hmmmm
Think on, you are a butterfly...
One Biologist said to me, when I was at college.  They move so fast, they flap their wings at a amazing pace, could it be we are in a time zone, within a time zone?
Ya know, could a butterfly live, within our time zone, but at a different pace.  Could their days, seems like years - that's what she said, - I never forgot that, for some reason.

Thanx Switch, well I had a look, but heck that's heavy reading.
I can only delve when I'm in the mood, I can't go too deep too often, coz I have a tendancy to stay there for too long if I do, know what I mean ?  LOL's

This is an interesting section however I won't ad alot to it except this....
If you have experienced the unknown - which is what can't be proven by science or fact - you will be wise enough to understand these things exist all around us and you will also understandably know without a doubt the only ppl who can't see are the ones who wont see.We are all capable. It has nothing to do with "of the mind" its just the humans way of trying to comprehend what they just witnessed by declaring "I must have dreamt that" or "I'm seeing things".
I live with ghosts on a daily basis and if you'd seen half of what I've seen you'd be at peace with it all.
I've been a ghost caller since I was 9 yo (not by choice either)...I can boot them as easily as I can call them but mostly I just live with them - they are not that scary just annoying.lol.
But good articles here WD.
If you do have an anyoyying soul in ur house the rules are simple-
reverse your mirrors or place a black cloth over them if hey vcan't be reversed and tell them to eff off they understand that. Keep mirrors covered for 7 days.
Mirrors are a gateway to all spirits.
The other thing that will remove a spirit is a cat. Ask the Eyptians.
No I'm not weird I've tried and tested many things to remove spirits and these 2 worked and continue to work.

MC

I've done extensive research on this. I do understand what you are saying. I've got volumes of writings to post, if I could find the time. You know what I'm saying. Groups take a lot of time. Creating your own is the only way to be able to explore the subjects you are interested in. So, kinda caught in the middle with that. Very soon I will take some time and post some interviews I conducted.

Jen, #12  Mini -strokes hun. I must have had a lot of mini strokes. That sounds reasonably possible in some cases.  Still it seams like there would be more signs of a stroke if they happend often. Like problems with language or funtion. Or maybe we do and just don't notice it or call it affects of ageing.

I think that most of the deja vu I have experienced have been completely strange places I go in dreams and then later see in the real world or wake state.

I almost always remember the dream  so I know where the familiar images originate. Now just how I can dream of people, places and event with out having already be in that spot or with that certain people is a mystery.

I pay close attention to those lucid dreams because; I have even seen dangerous places and situation in dreams years or moments before I found myself awake and in that exact scene.

I remembered that dream and  quickly ran away from those people or places that were bad and been very glad I did.  I would never just ignore it and go into a situation against what I had already seen turn out badly.  I figure what ever the phenomena is, it is better to be safe and feeling silly than dead wrong.

I have found I can also return to the dream state places and have great visits with familiar dream land friends that live it that time and place.

I almost never see people I know, unless they are dead. Even then I am so busy in the adventure and experience I forget to take full advantage of their company again.  I think for the biggest part of that time I  forget they are dead.

No doubt we do have a big brain power. Well some of us anyway.
Not long ago I  saw an interesting special on TV dealing with how the quantum field works . Sorry I can't remember what it was called. The program very clearly examined  the ideas of quantum  theories and how we actually create every moment of our realities.

These ideas might explain how a person place or thing can be in several realities at the same time.  Perhaps we are even somewhat  aware of the different realities or planes of existence, but push it aside like the monster in the closet.

As a matter of fact I think I have said all this before too.
Does anyone remember?

yup switch you've obviously lived it yourself, its really the only way to understand it.
I don't get into this stuff on my forum because I am also at peace with non-believers because I know ghosts only approach those who actually allow them in.

But it's not just ghosts Trace has an uncanny way of soul spotting, in animals and ppl.
Infact she can tell what type of soul you are by looking into your eyes and she can tell where your heading.
And I understand what she is talking about because my annoying critters have many things to say.[A ghost as we call it is prefered to be known as a floating soul. Some have direction others just float.]

It can be disturbing but I'm finally at peace with it.
For a long time I thought I was insane lol. But then you talk to others and exchange stories and me being who I am I needed some answers.
So I caved in and tried talking to them.
Bang they answered, just like that.
I love this topic and can go on and on about it but you know I also respect ppl and and appreciate not everyomne wants to know about it.

But its nice to get it out now and then.
The truth is none of us will know until we get there but apparently if you don't float the end is peaceful and nice so I am told lol.

hm. for 40 odd years now i get warning dreams for other people.  the first time i thort cos i dreamed it that i killed my grandfather (age 7)_.  For years it frightened me and being brought up a card carrying catholic, the occasional 'was it the devil' would plague me. The only time I felt a ghost was at 20. In the middle of a large room in Colliers Wood London, something or someone hit me directly with great force on my third eye (didn't know at the time what or where that was). Scared the willies out of me.  Switch is right, the second time it happened I didn't just tell it to EFF off, I went balistic.  Never happened again.  However I still dream and after seeing a baby die by drowning and across the other side of the world about a month later, an old schoolfriends child did indeed die. the cord wrapped around her neck in utero. I made a solemn promise that no matter how embarassing I would contact who ever appeared to need it.  So far, I have yet to find anyone anything but thankful.  I do however think that science will eventually work this out.  Have theory it is something to do with sense of smell, bio-chemistry and that when bonded once on a physical level that even across the world as I am now, those subtle changes are picked up....simple mundane sample: eg....ever walked into a room where there has been a bad arguement moments before...its the hormones etc you smell and recognise. .

I am sorry but all post's with the Wolf eye had to be deleted.

One reason is they are, what is called, Hot-Linked from and educational site - utah.edu
Hotlinking is considered as bandwidth theft and highly frowned upon and can even lead
to prosecution in some cases. The only way you may hotlink an item is if it is from your
own PERSONAL server.

The other reason is the use of the religious symbols, although anyone's particular belief
in certain religions is totally acceptable and even commendable when one stands true to
their particular belief. In a group format such as ours with the wide variety of people &
beliefs, posting symbols repeatedly can easily be misconstrued by others as one trying
to force a belief system on others. To avoid this it is better that they be used only in
conjuction with a story being told or things of that nature.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Sincerely,
Ranae'   (Assitant Manager WSAM)
