Did I shut the whole dang Politic board down??

No one wants to provoke my mean little mouth now...

What? you guys don't have any thoughts on this little National Meltdown?

Which one you say??

Agreed,  So that means there is lots to rant about, for the sake of Orange's education.  Best educate me, I vote too. Of course in application of ideas on the important matters, we the people have no say. This mess is an unveiling of our lack of influence. All our decisions are made by fat cats behind closed doors, that is not the peoples choice on anything. And our reps are in the fat cat club makin' money.

How about we start at the top and sell off all their billion dollar homes. Pass out tents to CEO's and GBs all the way up.

It's that or decapatation.

Do you think you are being hood winked to pay someone else's irrisponciable debt encountered by greed and selfishness?

What kind of mind must demand at any cost to have 'More' when they already have five lifes time's worth of decant living in there pockets?  Could these little want to be's be exspiring to be GODS on earth? And some are even booking seats in the heavens to escape the mess they are makeing of this planet.

I figured you political wizards would be buzzing like mad hornets.

I can plainly see, Greed is the problem again....still.

Can you tell me how the developers where thinking when they were building mini cities of over priced home that are priced far above what the common worker (FM people) could ever afford. There are not that many CEO's to fill all those homes and the knew it. News Flash:The whole country does not make the money of Wall St. and other high rolling city lifestyles.

Sure they knew that, I did the first time i saw those houses.  So is that another part of the take the money and run act by these both daring and undercover coyotes.?

Developers can't give the money back, so why not sell their homes for group housing? That might take care of a big chunk of the debt. Next we take the homes of the politicians that enable this pillaging and sell all their homes too.
Wow! I am beginning to hear a big Ka Ching.

This could be a taxpayers jackpot. Next we go for their expensive cars. Can't sell them worthless pieces of junk so, Give them and the gas to run them to recyclers. Recycling is good. Maybe those big limos would make good transportation for elderly who need soft rides to all their many and  very expencive medical appointments.

Government and Auto maker fat cats have been high jacking our affordable transportations designs and legally sealing the market from energy efficient designs so they could make a quick rape of the people before the buyers can find a way to implement their already developed good cars and other transportations. GEO Metro twenty years ago..52 miles to the gal.
1991 Ford escort, family wagon..I get 32 miles in fair running condition.  So,why do I need an expensive hybrid that gets 26 mpg.. and uses lots of power to charge for a few miles run?? Not even practical for a none city dweller or commuter who drives the most miles. And the newly shown cars...ha one half car...that should make us buy the whole thing at what ever price the buccaneers dream up.

You bet, close down that little hummer shop..sacrifice..sell it to the government and the people, because it is no damn good in this new energy age. Garbage to pay the people back all they have been stealing from for years!

Beheading.....sound nice to  me. The out come is the same whether in is chop chop or starving in the street. I don't want rattlers to come back after they are released. Lipstick on not.

Build for millionaires, sell to low medial income, my guess 50k and then after they have taken the hook, jack them up for all their money and kick their arusses out. What no jobs in this country! Oh goody, then they can sell that dreamers trap to the next sucker and do it all over again.

You do the math, who really owns that house and how much will that same house make for its financer if this is repeated many times?

Ooops! Guess what? Made somewhere else so the fat cats can make those Unholy profits from the sweat, blood, and honor of the worker class. You know the ones that work and don't really get paid profits.  What they do get, as suggested by the public advertising and acceptable standards of decadency is, just more  extravagant toy on credit to appease the growing discontent of the poverty stricken peoples and let them feel like they are special too.

Billions of dollars go the crafty little mind messers who tell our youngest what they Must have to be popular with the best people. Gamma's hand painted princess table, a gift of love means nothing and is openly rejected because it is not what the TV told them they must have to be happy. Vampires feeding on the fat of the innocence.

Dang right it is a conspiracy. The invisible trickle down kind. The kind where nothing needs to be said and  money savvy folks just know to push the money train. Even if they know it will run down a pedestrian. Me me me me me the one god.

This bedeviled conspiracy goes right down to the parents who are so guilt ridden by the neglect of their children, who receive expensive toys instead of time and personal loving attention, while parents run like mad men to get that big car that cost more that a family farm of twenty years ago. And what can that family man and woman do? Nothing. A few men's resistance is futile, and that's the plan. They make good examples for the benefit of companies.

What are the people doing when four wheels and a motor intended for transportation of humans is the standard of values in life. Fancy homes, cars, clothes, because they love their children and ....where are the soft protective seats and seat belts on school busses?  Liars. Lying to the very kids they claim to love and respect..so lie to them.

And at the top of my simple minded grip list,

Send our babies off to schools where they must fear for their lives from other young students and stressed out lunatics.
Schools are a good place to make secure.  Or refuse to send them. Of course that is against the law, enforceable law.

Have the monetarily successful middle class people moved in a successful way to protect their children ...?  No, only the richest can.

What!!? No public school money. FNSOB   Some one has their nasty little hands in the kid's cookie jar and others are too afraid of losing their cars to speak up. Unthinkable acts happen to children while the nice folks turn a powerless blind eye. There is no protection for the innocents that has been cast into the street by greed and decadency of the money hoarders.

Where are the promised good schools with a mission to create strong healthy minds and a love of man and his  achievements?

Sadly, Wars and the honor of destruction have dominance....through out history.

How about we the people focus on building something good for everyone? We could battle the problems of a fast changing environment instead of each other for that last grain of rotten rice. We need not drug or game away our natural aggression, just give our masculine aggression a reason and place to be. Like hunters fed the tribe at great risk to life and limb.

Same thing greed thing with medicinal costs. Doctors and most nurses make far less that adminastrators. And aspirins do not cost ten dollars each, even if the pharmaceutical folks are still doing the research on the drug. Hardworking house keepers and the Cna's, who do the bulk of the work and support the worth of the whole facility make minimum wage.
Greedy little clutching hands on high.

It's polite and acceptable behavior to keep your mouth shut and let the fat cats feed. That or lose your job and be labeled a trouble maker for future references. I personally ran into this problem (many times) in the in home and care facilities field. Fortunately for everyone my life did not depend on my silence. Other dependant staff workers where not afforded the space to be decent in the care of our sick and elderly parents. After all, who would it help to lose your job?

Dee, if you think MSN will take objection to what I have to say politically, feel free to delete it.

Expressing my disgust with nice words and gracious kiss aruss is hypocrisy and not worth the breath.

Yep this spot is quiet. Humm...must be holding your breath. It won't work, you really need a nice soft choke rope.

The small time village voice,

Good evening Slow,

Anything over three figures is a headache.

I can't even count and I have had my goodies in a can for some time now.  I can loan it to tapped out friends and make all the interest I need, with out hurting anyone's pocket.  If I loan them 100 for the night, they pay me 110. the next morning. That works for us. Everyone has always paid me.  Or........the next time they go to the cash drawer ...it's empty.  And these fools run out of money all the time.  Not me..heheheh.

Un-American as it is; I really do like to live with-in my means. Even my home is paid for. I only borrow small amounts and pay them back quickly. Heck, I even paid my student loans. I usually arrange my business deals directly with the merchants or service persons and pay cash or make a few personal loan payments. The reward for that is .... NO credit rating.  LOL

"What goes up, must come down", even with Z pill.

And one more thing:

Befor I run for office I need to know;

Do you think any idiot will do fine for the VP?

I have been hearing people say the job had no need of prerequisites and no call for high expectation of capabilities, they seam to think being simple and down to earth is plenty.
I guess so, some folks thought it was fine for President too.

Should they be formally educated before running for VP??

Perhaps not, in the year they only need be a gender or social statement.
or because they've had previous angelic conformation of the Presidents long life
in a black bowl of water.

The person who, in a missed heart beat could instantly become President of the United States of America, shall be as capable as the person elected to the first seat.

That's a good idea right. We could explore and prove that with unrehearsed interviews.
Even if it went badly we could still have a good laugh and keep looking.

A Vice President is an important  person and not a position to be taken lightly or seated by a less than proven capable person.
A quick sarcastic battering of the boys is not enough. Woman usually hold the alpha on the spot, just like Mom.  It is engrained in the dna.

Grooming a person to appear to the American people in any way other than straight forward honesty is fraud.

A team effort to deceive the people and make a candidate look fictitiously intelligent for the parties cameras is a
treasonous lie.

This presidential race is not an auditioning for stage play. The white house is not a theater and this job is not for pretenders or actors.  This is not a sports event. This election campaign is not comedy central.

The real breathing bleeding lives of billions of people are in their hands. Your sleeping child's every breath  depends on the presidents decisions and values.  Is that a big party joke ??

This is a grand debate designed to find the most intelligent and capable persons the US has to offer.

All things with in logic of course...
# Good hygiene grooming and proper manners are acceptable.
# Instructing an already known but novice candidate in the ways of policy, who's who and every changing PC language is a given necessity. Party groomers telling them what to think and how to lie about it is not.

What is the expression? They sell you a pig in a poke. Lots of squealing and grunting but, maybe no fat.

Well, sweet thang, you pretty much said it all, didn't ya?  But, here's MY rant, anyway, about the bailout crappy plan!

The reason for this financial mess is GREED, pure and simple.  Wanting short time gain, and to hell with tomorrow.  People saying, "I want it regardless if I can afford it or not, and I want it NOW!"  Business elites greedily wanted the POWER and so they took the regulatory powers and used it to promote their own agendas, ensuring for themselves even more power and wealth.  Greedy citizens went along with them for their own selfish  and instant gratification.  That NEVER works out well.

Bailing out these greedy powers helps them escape the consequences.  A short term fix for a long term problem - which won't help, anyway, and, in fact, do lots of harm!

How stupid is it to allow those who screwed up to remain in charge to continue screwing up?  Privatizing gains and socializing risks is supposed to be a good idea?  Yeah, for those at the top, while screwing everyone else!  They get the gold and the rest get the shaft.

Those who acted irresponsibly, the Big Boys, will get a payday but the little guy and his descendants to come will get nothing except the bill!  Home values will continue to fall, leaving us with mortgages larger than our homes are worth.  Many more will lose their homes and all of us will get to pay the tab with higher taxes, swelling deficits, higher interest rates and a continuing slow economy.

Most of the bail out money will end up in the hands of those who got us here in the first place.  It's not going to work - not going to help the country or the average citizen.

Human nature and greed being what it is, we NEED strict regulation.

An investor class that once valued hard steady work and steady growth who lost those values out of greed and wanting to get rich quick has ruined us, along with our own lost values.

Over production, over-consumerism had to stop somewhere, somehow.  Cranking out more goods than we need or can use, how long could that last???  Excess can only go so far before it dies of its own excess.

No matter what the politicians say, change is here, and we are all responsible for it.  This change is not going to be painless.  Consequences are the pits.  Even for the blameless, but apathetic, we'll all share in the consequences.  Have been, even before this reached the attention of the media.

Watch and weep!

Hiya olgrams. I read the plan and yes some of it sounds good. The problem with it is that it hits the very wealthy too hard. Taking 50 to 70% of their income would cause some of them to renounce their U.S. citizenship and move elsewhere. Also if I were told that I had to pay out 70% of my income, there would be little incentive to make the money in the first place. As much as I do NOT believe in trickle down economics, I do think that could cause some lost jobs at the bottom.
Who is to blame for this mess? Just about everybody!! While there was a disgusting amount of greed and deciet happening with the CEO's, as far as we currently know they broke no laws(time will tell).
The morons that put Dubya in office wanted deregulation. They got it. Now here we are.
Middle income people had decent homes they could afford but decided they needed homes twice the size they had with gas guzzling vehicles in the garage. They got em. They lost em and now here we are.
People at the lower end wanted homes they knew they could not afford. They got them, lost or are losing them. Now here we are.
WE all want the American dream. Many over reached their means to aquire it and now here we are.
The bailout will hit all of us and it will hurt. No bailout, or other quick plan, will hurt to a degree that we can't even imagine.

I don't think the bailout plan, as it is, would help because it'd merely make taxpayers pay off the bad debts of the Big Banks...adding to our debt will make interest rates go higher.

Experts from both sides (left and right) insist this bailout bill will make things worse and they give good reasons as to why and how, such as:  it's too vague, as written, the long-term effects are unclear, it's not an efficient plan and spending this money on it will make it impossible to fund REAL economic stimulus cause families losing jobs and homes will have to cut back on their spending, which will then worsen the economy, and, most importantly - there are more and better alternatives!

Galbraith has a better idea, so does the Service Employees Intl. Union, etc.  We should take the time to work out a better and more realistic plan and not be pressured by these idiots to finance a wasteful disaster and not be scared into acting foolishly - AGAIN!

I am also having a problem with the plan as is. It basically is a repeat of failed conservative financial phylosophy of "Trickle down economics". There is no stimulus for us at the lower end of the spectrum.
Give us our taxes back so we can pay the bills. It my money and I need it now. If consumers can buy goods and pay loans then the money in the banks build.   Eventually it works its way up.

Hope I didn't offend any Conservatives with my common sence.

Things will get worse, before they even start to get better, bailout or not.  I feel sorry for the next president, cause he'll get more than his share of the blame, whichever one it is.  Looks now as if it will be Obama.

Olgrams I agree with message 15 100%. By the middle of the next presidency, people will forget that our economic woes started before ,whoever is then president, became president.
I just heard today that we are looking at 15 years before things get back to normal.
As far as ANY type of pork being added to this bill goes, I find it appalling to say the least.

What bothers me is that a week after doling out billions, we're turning around and giving a few million more to some fatcats who can't seem to get their business shit together.  It makes no sense to me to, on the one hand, decry corporate greed and corruption, and, on the other hand, feed it with my money.

Saddly it appears that nothing will work. It may become a reality that we see a complete collapse of the entire world market as it currently exists. The truly scary possibility, is that the Middle East is cash rich enough that they could in fact become the center for world economics.
