well, I believe people who read and write are the kind of people who are more aware of the profound things ,about life, about the philosophy that lies beneath the daily life.
I like your works, it's inspiring,and your writing is exquisite
I look upon you guys as authorities in this group

 

too bad that was your personal experience , I figure it deals with the loss of life or something.........

vi, it was written about when my younger sister was dying. she had aids, been through her share of hell, and i had to dig really deep spiritually to touch that part of us that was very hard to get to.i try to allow that same deep exploration of the truth inside me to be where my writing comes from. we must peel away the layers of bs that hide us from pain, love, death, and ultimately our very selves. keep writing. those who carry the heaviest loads it seems have the furthest journey to make. go figure.

I'm sorry about your sister.I've never had the experience of losing someone close to me,(But I had a dog which i loved deeply when I was a kid, died of illness) And also in my dreams ,it happened sometime,yea, it's terrible.

 

well I think those who dig deep and think profoundly are respectable and admirable,but at the same time , more vulnerable.It's great pain when others can be numb and let thnigs pass and you still have to be sober and go through the loss or misery again and again.

 

BTW,How long you've been writing?

Nic...I saw your post in Switchie's box.  Did your membership inadvertently get cancelled?  If it did, the posts someone makes goes away as well.  If not, then they might be buried in the Creative Writing thread. 

 

Are you talking about your Library page?  Is the link broken?  We've had all sorts of fun the last while.  Switchie's been really busy, so I'm trying to help him keep things running.  Let me know what's missing and I'll do my best to help you find it!

I am glad to see you around the group more again...Are you writing again?  What's been going on?

I'll 'fess up...my hair color is whatever Magic Sarah and I decide I feel like wearing for the next few weeks ...I looked at the profile thing...that pic is quite a few years old!  My daughter is leaning on my shoulder...she's now in her 2nd year of university...lol...maybe time to find another foto, huh?

 

I hope life is easing for you...relationship stuff is some of the hardest to deal with...and it seems like it hits us all at one time or another.  All you can do is hole up, keep the Self intact, protect the innocents, and emerge on the other side...

*Whew*  Always glad to help avoid a crisis...lol...What's on for your weekend?  Anything fun?  I took a job in California, so I'm moving in about a month (HATE IT)...so I've got a TON of stuff to do.  Yes, that = No Fun.  Sigh...oh well...there's always  the occasional Jen and Tonic to ease the pain .
