Libby...the sure fire way for someone to get your message is for you to go to THEIR mailbox to reply.  It's different than other threads in that way I guess...just wanted to say how glad I am you're making yourself at home.  I look forward to getting to know you better on the boards...Jen

Sure Libby. And I don't care if she's fat and bald. I like all women. Something special about each and everyone of them.
Give her my email address and tell her to contact me. I'll tell her what to do. As you know, we handle membership a little bit differently here.

So Maybe I'll Re-share it Anyway...

 Some Thoughts To Live By

Hopefully, some of them will make you stop and say “Hmmmmmmm?

1. The Moral Majority is neither.
2. Don’t squat with your spurs on.
3. Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.
4. Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup!
5. To Hell with the Prime Directive! FIRE!!!
6. You can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you'd better have a big weenie or huge boobs.
7. You need only two tools. WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
8. Never pass up an opportunity to pee.
9. Always listen to experts. They'll tell you what can't be done, and why. Then go ahead and do it anyway.
And on and on and on and on through

170. Quis custodiet  ipsos custodes? (Who watches the watchers?)

Hey Libby,

From me, probably right here in this group, although I have also posted them elsewhere. They're my "Thoughts to Live By".

Here are the ones you're missing. I've updated it since posting, and it just keeps on growing.

171. Do not corner something that you know is meaner than you.
172. Most of the stuff people worry about ain't never gonna happen anyway.
173. Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.
174. Walk with those seeking truth. Run from those who think they’ve found it.
175. Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear.
176. A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of Nature.
177. A faithful friend is a strong defense.  A faithful friend is the medicine of life.
178. Children are living messages we send to a time we will not see.
179. The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
180. If you can't fight, and you can't flee, flow.
181. Nothing succeeds like excess.
182. Anger, like a volcano, is both destructive and creative.
183. Don't let your emotions drive your car.
184. Patience my ass, I'm gonna go kill something.
185. Did you ever stop to think that the light you see at the end of the tunnel might be a train coming at you?
186. Change is the only true constant.
187. Patience?  I don’t have time for patience.
188. Walk not on the water, for you may be taken for someone of importance.
189. The problem with two-way communication, (from the top down and from the bottom up) is that there is always the poor sucker in the middle who gets it from both ends.
190. Life is hard, but it’s harder when you’re stupid.
191. Those who don’t read good books have no advantage over those who can’t.
192. If it feels good, do it.  If it feels real good, do it a bunch.
193. There is no failure except in no longer trying.
194. Every time you acquire a new interest, even more, a new accomplishment, you increase your power of life.
195. With so many spectacular colors in the world, it’s a shame to make everything black and white.
196. There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread.
197. It’s not whether you get knocked down.  It’s whether you get up again.
198. Minds are like parachutes: they function only when open.
199. The key to everything is patience.  You get the chicken by hatching the egg...not by smashing it.
200. The first step to knowledge is to know that we are ignorant.
201. The most useless day is that in which we have not laughed.
202. Time is Nature’s way of keeping everything from happening at once.
203. The truth is more important than the facts.
204. Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal.
205. Saying “no?gives meaning to our “yes.?BR>206. Take a chance!  All life is a chance.  The man who goes the furthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare.
207. Too many people miss the silver lining because they’re expecting gold.
208. Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right.
209. Those who don’t know how to weep with their whole heart, don’t know how to laugh either.
210. Don’t rest on your laurels until they’ve hatched.
211. In response to “It was just working? Things always work before they break.
212. If at first you don’t succeed, try for second.
213. We’ve got them right where they want us.
214. A mind is a terrible thing to taste.
215. Great minds think differently.
216. Good things come to those who look.
217. Give without remembering, Receive without forgetting.
218. Learn to enjoy the process to a goal.
219. Tell people what you think and how you feel.
220. Learn to see without thinking or analyzing.  Notice things, but don’t judge them.
221. Talk to children and older people.  They see things differently.
222. Am I being paranoid enough?
223. Certainly the game is rigged.  Don’t let that stop you; if you don’t bet, you can’t win.
224. Maybe Jesus was right when he said the meek shall inherit the earth - but they inherit very small plots, about six feet by three.
225. If you don’t like yourself, you can’t like other people.
226. Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.
227. Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects
228. Nothing is really lost.  It’s just where it doesn’t belong
229. No matter what accomplishments you achieve, somebody helps you.
230. Wisdom ofttimes consists of knowing what to do next.
231. Cynicism is cancer of the mind.
232. Commitment - doing what you set out to do despite the obstacles.
233. Frustration is when the same snow that covers the ski slopes makes the road to them impassable.
234. For peace of mind, resign as general manager of the universe.
235. People who snore always fall asleep first.
236. If you want to truly understand something, try to change it.
237. A person all wrapped up in himself generally makes a pretty small package.
238. It is easy to take liberty for granted when you have never had it taken from you.
239. The surest way to be late is to have plenty of time.
240. The will to win is not nearly as important as the will to prepare to win.
241. A stumble may prevent a fall.
242. Anyone can hold the helm when the sea is calm.
243. Looks are so deceptive that people should be done up like food packages with the ingredients clearly listed.
244. A painting in a museum probably hears more foolish remarks than anything else in the world.
245. Get it right or let it alone.  The conclusion you jump to may be your own.
246. Enter freely of your own will, and leave some of the happiness you bring.
247. Never let your sense of morals prevent you from doing what is right.
248. Watch where you're going, not where you've been.
249. Data is like garbage. You better be sure what you're going to do with it before you collect it.
250. People who complain about the way the ball bounces are usually the ones who dropped it.
251. Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.
252. Reality is manipulable....change your mind.
253. There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.
254. You don’t have to agree with the message to enjoy the music.
255. Formula for success: Rise early, work hard, strike oil.
256. I have tried to know absolutely nothing about a great many things, and I have succeeded fairly well.
257. Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.
258. Never wear anything that panics the cat.
259. Sometimes too much drink is not enough.
260. The facts, although interesting, are generally irrelevant.
261. The more you run over a dead cat, the flatter it gets.
262. Do unto others.
263. The Romans did not create a great empire by having meetings; they did it by killing all those people who opposed them.
264. There are no new sins; the old ones just get more publicity.
265. Money can't buy happiness -- but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Corvette than in a Yugo.
266. In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria.
