Some people are hesitant to tell anything that is out of the ordinary. They don't want to be made fun of. There are a lot of things that happen, that can't be explained and science doesn't know everything.
I've only heard my grannie's voice a couple of times, since she left. Everytime, it was when I was thinking of doing something a little rowdy. Clear as a bell, "Young man... I didn't bring you up that way." It's a mental voice, but undeniably her's. I've tried to imagine it and can't... unless it's one of those times.
