Good Morning

Just stopped by for my weekly bore the members of WSAM with the dreary details of the life and times of Fiona. I'll try to be brief.  LOL

You know how they have these dreary little banquets to honor someone, when they get a promotion. You know those people would like the cost of that little dinner in their bank account, rather than sit around with a bunch of people who wish they were at home watching TV or getting drunk.

Last night, Miss Freebus was honored. What a stuffy old bitch. Not that she's that old, but did you ever know somebody in school that was a tattletale?  My friend, who has worked for this company about 12 years, is Miss Feebus' favorite target. She's on her case constantly about one thing or another. She would get her fired if she could, but Faye is sleeping with the boss's son. Well, they put Faye in charge of the banquet and the catering. LOL!

Miss Freebus is constantly on a diet and eats cherry jello with practically every meal. I have nothing against cherry jello, but every meal?  yuk. Anyway the catering company was instructed to make a large jello mold of the company emblem. As it happens,  Faye has a smaller version of the mold for individual servings and she made Miss Freebus a special treat. It consisted of plain Knox gelatine and red food coloring. No flavoring at all.

She tried it out on me first. I went over to pick her up and she had the individual serving all molded up. It wa beautiful. A deep red and actually did look delicious. She'd kept some out for me to try. I took a big ole bite and about threw my toenails up.  One would think that a flavorless food would not be at all difficult to swallow, but believe me,  insert a cold mass of gelatinous glop into a mouth that was expecting sweets and the experience will gag you.

Everybody  else had a slice of the beautifully molded company emblem served right there at their table. Everybody said it was the best jello, they'd ever tasted. Miss Freebus on the other hand, took a big bite and I saw her throat work like she was going to throw up. She managed about 3 bites, before heading to the ladies room. It was hilarious. Or maybe not. I guess you'd just have to have been there.  LOL

The Golden Screw

Once upon a time, a young lad was born without a belly button.
In its place was a golden screw. All the doctors told his mother
that there was nothing they could do. Like it or not, he was
stuck with it.

All the years of growing up were real tough on him, as all
who saw the screw made fun of him. He avoided ever leaving
his house and thus never made any friends.

One day, a mysterious stranger saw his belly and told
him of a swami inTibet who could get rid of the screw
for him. He was thrilled. The next day he took all of his
life's savings and bought a ticket to Nepal.

After several days of climbing up steep cliffs, he came
upon a giant monastery. The swami knew exactly why
he had come. He was told to sleep in the highest tower
of the monastery and the following day when he
awoke, the screw would have been removed.

The man immediately went to the room and fell asleep.
During the night while he slept, a purple fog floated in
an open window, bearing in its mist, a golden screwdriver.
In just moments, the screw-driver removed the screw and
disappeared out of the window.

Then next morning when the man woke, he saw the
golden screw lying on the pillow next to him. Reaching down,
he felt his navel, and there was no screw there!

Jubilant, he leaped out of bed, but in seconds, his butt fell off!

The moral to this is "don't screw around with things you don't
understand or you'll lose your ass".

Hope you're having a great week-end!
No screwing around, now!   LOL
