last night

 

last night I had big ideas
of what we could do together
I bathed and groomed
I even perfumed
to look my best for you
you bathed in fragrant bubbles
you scrubbed yourself real clean
the fancy nightie you put on
was a real skimpy see through
you wanted to see me do
the things I used to do
the bedroom was warm and cozy and
when you came through the door
you stood there in amazement
when all you could hear
was my snore...
