"I pray the Lord my soul to keep" but if he doesn't shall I weep? Will there be time for sins of mine to be atoned? Or shall I simply be... recloned? No, for I am me and when I go, may some have loved yet, some not know. (c) ZYDHA HART 2005 |

Hi Zy, A variation on a childrens prayer - Life is very complex, humans are very complex, there is a little bit of good and bad in all of us - Hopefully more good of course. An interesting idea brought into this prayer Emma |

Hi Zed I like the simplicity of this...although the 'recloning' bit is quite clever - an interesting take on the natural dust to dust ashes to ashes recycling aspect of death...as Emma says the poem has an almost childlike quality about it which makes it more effective methinks. Well done. : )lb |

Hy Emma, I think Mikhails situation does make one think about time and his question on Debatables does it yet again, lol, so some serious thinking been going on. It wasn't so much 'life' that was the inspiration of this thought, but the 'other' thing, Zy |

I was reading Mikhail's "I fell so deeply in love with life" again, lb, and that particular child's poem slipped into mind...so I guess I was in 'that' kind of mood when this started. Yes, whatever one believes in, there is a recycling process, I found 'cloning' came to mind, then thought...no...and then, well...anyways, pleased you felt the simplicity was effective, Zed |
