Infinity by Gary Faye

I find myself ... hovering

between heaven and hell

Infinity shows itself

To subconscious

Lost to all that's real

Surreal thoughts

Flow in and out

As blood runs cold

Watching grim reaper

Draw close

To whisk away

to his world ...

Dark infinity.

Maria this reminded me for some reason of Phillip K Dicks   'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'   or the film of the book 'Bladerunner'   one of my all time faves...Do you know of the book?

There is a hill which has to be climbed...I enjoyed the poem and the images it brought to my mind...thanks xx

Maria, you've done it again x
Except that this time I thought the words darker than the picture, and they sent a shiver down my spine X

I have not read the books, but have heard of them. I love Sci-fi, am into Issac Asimov...robots and classic themes...Thank you for your feedback, I thought I'd share a scary poem for October...

I wrote with the intention of creeping someone out, and so my mission's accomplished...thank you for reading and giving a fine review.

The edge of the abyss plunging into our collective nightmares, eerie words, and a picture and poem wonderfully complimenting each other

Drifting in a dark dreamscape, Maria. Well painted. I think you'd enjoy the book Kayano mentioned.

I needed to get into the mood of Halloween, and how best to depict it? I thought, spending time with the Grim Reaper, or the god Hades...nightmarish to say the lest, enjoyed creeping myself out...

Thank you Kayo, as usual, I was inspired by art...
