Why are bubbles round?
Why can't they be square?
Why do bubbles burst?
That simply isn't fair!
Why can't I keep a bubble
Just to wear upon my hair?
Why can't I peel a bubble
To get in at the air?
What makes a bubble special -
I really do not know
But when I'm blowing bubbles
My body's all aglow!
When bubbles float away
Where do they really go?
I wish I could re-use bubbles
Because I love them so!
When I have a fizzy drink
Bubbles go up my nose!
I've looked into the mirror
But them bubbles never shows!!
Why do bubbles do that
'Cos it makes me curl my toes?
What do bubbles do up there -
It seems nobody really knows!
When I'm soaking in the bathtub
Or washing dishes at the sink
Those bubbles are all colours
Of softest green and blue and pink
I wonder - can those bubbles see me?
Can they feel or even think?
I just know I have to watch them
Or they disappear each time I blink!!
