Hoping to do my Open House the first weekend of May so I can give her the Pink Cups and Squares for graduation...been saving the pink stuff for my sisters when they graduate...one down, one more to go!

I'm doing "In the Pink" and "Mommy and Me' Tea Shows.  For In The Pink I'll be making Strawberry Dream Torte OR Baked Alaska Cake with Strawberry Splash Filling (hosts choice).  Also Wild Raspberry Summer Sipper. Mommy and Me Tea is Teatime Tartlets, Sealed-with-A-Kiss Cinnamon Rolls (honds-on for the kids), Tutti-Frutti Smoothies and Good Company Tea.

I'm making the Strawberry Amaretto Pastries and coloring the filling pink.  Also thinking about offering splendind Strawberry Cream Pie but omitting the blueberries for an extra can of strawberry filling to put on top.

May host get to choose from:
Chicken Enchilada Ring
Tamale RoundAbout
Fiesta Tortilla Stack

it is in the document section under recipes...and i believe under hwc...but here it is....

Strawberry Cheesecake Microwave Cake

1 strawberry cake mix

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1 (3 oz. box) cheesecake pudding mix

16 oz. sour cream

1/2 cup oil

3 eggs

Optional for garnishing:

6 fresh strawberries

Cool Whip

Spray your Fluted Stoneware pan lightly and dust with flour using your Flour/Sugar Shaker. Using Stainless Steel Whisk, whisk eggs and pudding mix together in Classic Batter Bowl. Add remaining ingredients, blending well with Mix N' Scraper. Drop batter into Fluted pan and microwave on high 12-14 minutes. (Watch your cake after 10 minutes if you microwave runs hot.) Works best if your have a turntable in your microwave. Test with Cake Tester to make sure it is done (the center may look underdone even when the cake tester comes out clean) Invert cake immediately onto Stackable Cooling Rack, but leave pan over the cake for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes remove Fluted pan and cool completely.

Place on Simple Additions Platter and garnish (Flour/Sugar Shaker filled with powdered sugar, tuck some mint leaves at the bottom, make strawberry fans with your Egg Slicer Plus and put those between the mint leaves!) as desired.

Shopping List:

1 strawberry cake mix

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1 (3 oz. box) cheesecake pudding mix

16 oz. sour cream

1/2 cup oil

3 eggs

Optional for garnishing:

6 fresh strawberries

Cool Whip

I do Confetti Pasta Salad and add mushrooms. All veggies are breast cancer fighting foods.
If the Host wants two PC recipes I have them do the Strawberry Margarita Squares.

I just purchased Strawberry Daquari mix. When I use Margarita we call it the "Whooo" factor. My kids couldn't even eat it because of the sour bite it has. LOL.

If you go to Documents - HWC - and it's HWC in the pink recipes... Loooong list of HWC recipes. Here's the Strawberry Margarita Squares. Also, I use the Meat Tenderizer to smash the pretzels ($20)

Strawberry Margarita Squares

Prep time: 45 minutes Bake time: 10 minutes

Cool time: 30 minutes Chill time: 3 hours

Crust

2 cups (66) fat-free mini-twist pretzels (1 cup crushed)

½ cup butter or margarine, melted

¼ cup sugar

Filling

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese

½ cup thawed, frozen margarita mix concentrate (non-alcoholic)

2 containers (8 ounces each) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided

1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin

½ cup boiling water

1 package (10 ounces) frozen sliced strawberries in syrup

Fresh strawberry slices (optional)

Lime slices (optional)

Directions:

<DIR> <DIR>

Preheat oven to 350°F. For crust, finely crush pretzels in resealable plastic bag with Baker’s Roller. Melt butter in Small Micro-Cooker on HIGH 30 seconds or until melted. Add crushed pretzels and sugar; mix well. Press mixture onto bottom of Rectangular Baker. Bake 10 minutes. Cool completely.

For filling, beat cream cheese and margarita mix in Classic Batter Bowl until well blended. Fold in 2 cups of the whipped topping. Using Large Spreader, carefully spread cream cheese mixture evenly over crust. Refrigerate while preparing strawberry layer.

Place gelatin in Small Batter Bowl. Stir in boiling water; stir until completely dissolved. Add frozen strawberries and stir until strawberries separate and gelatin is thickened (a spoon drawn through mixture will leave an impression). Whisk in 3 cups of the whipped topping using Stainless Steel Whisk. Pour over cream cheese layer, spreading to edges. Refrigerate 3 hours to set.

Cut dessert into 15 squares. Garnish each serving with remaining whipped topping using Easy Accent Decorator. Top with fresh strawberry and lime slices, if desired.

Becky, you've made the Strawberry Margarita Squares at a show?  What about the chill time involved?

Hey sis,

Last summer these were a big hit at shows for me.  I premake the pretzel crust at home so it is cool by time I get there.  When I first get to the show during prep time I make the dessert fluff and throw it in the FREEZER till show time.

I then make a second mix in front of the audience and say " Now doesnt this look delisiouc, how bout we try it out right now?"  everyones tongues are hanging on the floor, so I get my hostess to get the one out of the freezer, I cut the slices, and top with a dolup of cool whip, strawberry fan and mint, then  serve.

I can do no wrong at this point.....

I learnt this watching EMERIL, make one ahead and then show them how you did it, and take the second one home for your family and you are a heroine all the way around....LOL

PCBombChelle - I've never made it at a Show but I go back and go over every tool I used. Like and 'air' Show I guess. Tom Marston does that! How come I don't have $20,000 in sales per month?? LOL.
