ill freely admit the world i grew up in certainly wasnt perfect, but it had one hell of alot going for it.  for the most part we respecteed the law, educated ourselves, honored mom and pop, we didnt steal or kill, or vandalize, and we loved our country.

today is the exact mirror image, all of the things wrong in my day appear right and acceptable today, and everything done correctly in my day is wrong by todays standards.

tonight here in the shithole i live in there is to be a vigil for a murderer, called a good man by his criminal father, whose son followed in his fooltsteps and met his end by the same sword he lived by.  his father calls him a good man, its an insult to good men everywhere.

my beloved grandmother said to me about 2 weeks before she passeed in 89, jerry im glad im leaving this world, i pity you people, damn the old gal was prophetic.  jerry

Lack of discipline, lack of self respect, and greed are the biggest problems in society today. IMO, anyway.

Jerry, I don't know where you live but nothing you say is applicable to my neck of the woods.

Oh wait. I do remember your saying something about your location.

Seems to me that the vast majority of us don't steal or kill.

As far as "respecting the law" goes, I'm willing to wager that hasn't changed all that much. Unless you think people just started smoking dope, or jaywalking, or drinking underage, or speeding.

I can't believe you are actually complaining about people hating their country after what you posted.
