| Writing your FIRST Candle Spell
Writing your first spell can be nerve wrecking or even a bit scary. But we have all been there at one point or another. When writing your first spell, remember that it is coming from you and not some book. Oh you may need a book for references on colors, oils ect for your purpose, but remember that the intention of the spell is what you want. A few ways to make this easier on you if you are writing your first spell is the following: If you are nervous or a bit scared try mediatating for awhile before you start to write. Try clearing your head and just relaxing and feeling what you want to do with the spell. Next figure out what you will need for the spell, what colors,oils, herbs ect. get those first. Than get out a sheet of paper or where ever you wish to write your spell on. - List your intent
- colors used
- oils used
- time of day you can use this spell (phase of the Moon also)
- Any other herbs, or items needed.
This is an important part of the spell creation process, plus it can help you keep track of what you used for what purpose. In writing a spell you dont have to put in a certain Goddess or God. A spell can be just for a certain purpose . Like money ect. You can include the actual Goddess or God's name pertaining to that but it is not necessary. Asking for guidance from the God or Goddess can be important, and if you wish you can add that to your spell. But always remember that it is your spell it comes from you. Writing the spell can be in itself a very beautiful thing. |
