Flower Power

This meditation is intended for one to find a protective light source, bringing a sense of calm and safety. To begin the meditation I would suggest one get comfortable...in your favorite position. Sitting or laying, just breath deeply three times...clearing your mind of all the worries of the world, your life, the immediate moment. Become conscious of your breath...don't rush or be hurried in anyway. Just breath in and out, slowly, calming your mind. When you are ready begin your journey to the place you are going to find your protective light.

    Imagine walking down a dirt road feeling the silt of the road between your toes, or if you prefer it can be on the beach...the surf gentlely rushes in to kiss your toes as you go along. Keep walking on your journey until you come to a gate, the gate to your safe place will just appear along your path. Don't be afraid as you lift the latch and enter an enchanted garden. The many fragrances of the garden waft by, heightening your senses, bringing your awareness tot he beautiful colored flowers surrounding you. Stop for a moment before going on and see, smell and hear the lovely garden noises. Begin wandering the garden exploring all the flowers around you. Do you find yourself being drawn to any one flower or color? If you do go with it...there is a place for you to rest near you flower...a bench near or a blanket. Take a rest while breathing in the scent of your flower, absorb the color, the way the petals open. See in your mind the full open bloom of your flower, the color so vibrant..so full to shield you from any harm, physically, seen or unseen. From Negativity or for just a sense of general well being when an unknown source of anxiety comes upon you. Envision the flower bloom as your shied, deflecting any unwanted energies. Feel the warmth of the color, and how the suns warmth creates the scent of the flower oils to surface to the petals. Breathe deeply and feel the safety and comfort of your flower power source. Once you have a firm visual in your minds eye of your flower and you feel ready to return to awareness, thank the flowers and the secret garden for sharing the protective love from within its gates. Return tot eh gate, lift the latch and return the way in which you came. Take a few minutes to become aware of the sounds and scents around you, slowly arousing your body and mind. Your flower travels within you now, and you may return to the garden at anytime to renew the feelings of calm and safety of the garden walls. When you have momens in life when you feel scared or vunerable to attack, call upon your protective flower, feeel the safety of the flower, the full bloom shielding you. Remember the feeling of love in the garden, surround yourself in the safety of the color, scent and bloom in which your flower offers. Enjoy and Brightest Blessing!
