The Travel Spell For this spell you will need these ingredients: One or two travel brochures containing pictures of the places you'd like to visit One or two clippings of holiday and travel packages A mirror (a wall mirror or dressing-table mirror is best) Some sticky tape A green pen or crayon If you'd like to travel the world or go away for a great holiday, cast this spell on the first Monday of the month. Gather the spell ingredients together and to go a private room where you can be alone for at least half an hour. Place the brochures and travel clippings on a flat surface and choose your favorite destination. Hold that clipping in your hand and repeat these words: 'With the wings of Mercury With freedom I fly So let it be!' Now stick the clipping face down on the mirror with the sticky tape and then write on the side facing you the number seven. Close your eyes and breathe evenly and deeply for a minute or two while you concentrate on your wish to travel. Fill yourself with carefree, happy thoughts and tell yourself how much you deserve to have this vacation. Leave the clippings on the mirror for at least twelve days and every time you walk past think of how you will be feeling once you are on vacation, relaxing and having a great time. |

Three Times Three spell
author unknown
Do this one outside for safety reasons. And It can be done as often as each moon cycle if necessary.
To get rid of physical, emotional, or spiritual negativity, and to bring forth balance in your life, try the Three Times Three spell.
This spell is best performed outdoors during the 3rd quarter of the
moon.
You will need:
one black candle,
3 drops of an essential oil with protection properties
a small spool of cotton twine,
a small amount of lamp oil,
a deep dish to contain the candle,
sand to fill the dish,
a sharp knife or Witch's athame.
Anoint the candle with the essential oil.
Using the knife/athame, inscribe the name of the person, place or thing or word symbolizing the negative situation you are experiencing, near the bottom of the candle.
Place the candle between your palms and breathe on the candle three times. With each breath, imagine you are exhaling the negativity you have received onto the candle.
Take the cotton twine, and tie it around the base of the candle so that at least two feet of twine hangs from the knot. Begin tightly coiling the twine around the candle in a counter-clock-wise direction. While doing so visualize a giant, protective, mirrored egg surrounding you and repeatedly chant:
Three time three, as ye have sown
Is thine to reap, thy harvest grown.
For best, for worst, for praise or chide,
The Gods alone your fate decide!
Continue wrapping the candle with the twine until you have spiraled to the top, covering every bit of the candle. Loop the twine, tying it in a knot to one of the coils at the top near the wick. Next, take the oil and liberally smear the twine and candle with it -- cover every inch of the entwined candle. Pour the sand into the dish and then wedge the candle into the sand so that it stands erect, then light it on fire.Watch as the candle melts away, knowing that the negative energy has been deflected. |

Tiger Claw Spell *originally posted by Lady Sylvar Moon* Mystikal wanted this but I think everyone needs it in areas where ice is prevelant. (and for people traveling who find they need extra gripping power on any surface, just alter the spell accordingly. ) Say this spell while envisioning the claws comming from the tires and gripping the road, ice. (I made this spell up because I'm such a chicken on the road and in need of some protection) "I SAY THIS SPELL THRICE, TO HOLD FAST ON THE ICE, MY TIRES HAVE TIGER CLAWS, TO BREAK THE SKID LAWS AS I DRIVE MY CAR THERE AND BACK." I've said this lots of times ands it does works! I've never been involved in any winter accident, and I like to believe it's due to this spell. Blessings ; Lady Sylvar Moon |

Time to Send a Message Spell
Color of the day: Green Incense of the day: Mulberry
If you have a secret message you wish to send to someone, tonight is the night. First, light several candles or hurricane lamps in the room. Call upon the directions to aid you. Then write upon a piece of paper the secret you wish to pass on. Say:
May you hear my words, Though unspoken. May this secret pass to you, Unbroken. Through dark of night, This secret shall be Revealed only between You and me.
Now fold the note and place it in a piece of dough or bread and roll it in tight. Leave it on your altar for the night and wait for the phone to ring. It will be someone who wishes to know your secret. Once this knowledge is passed safely, bury the message in your dough outside in your garden.

Your Tarot Avatar
Color of the day: White Incense of the day: Lavender
Obtain your tarot avatar by doing the numerology on your birth date. Add together your month, date, and year of birth until you arrive at a number less than twenty-two (for example: 11/23/1977 = 1+1+2+3+1+9+7+7=31 = 3+1=4). Go through your favorite tarot deck and pull out the Major Arcana card that corresponds to the number you obtained. Study this card until you can picture it clearly with your eyes closed. Picture the card in your mind’s eye and then blow up that image as though you were viewing it life-sized through a patio door. See yourself opening the door and walking out into the landscape of the card. Take your time. Explore this setting as completely as you wish. When you are ready, approach the main figure in the card respectfully and ask that he or she share with you messages about your life journey. Thank the figure for his or her assistance and return to your own world. Return to the card whenever you wish for further insight.

Thesmophoria
Color of the day: Brown Incense of the day: Pine
At this time, ancient Greeks celebrated the holiday of Thesmophoria. They honored women and women’s rights, and performed rites at the temples of various goddesses, chiefly Demeter and Artemis. Holy women would dress in gowns of royal purple and red, then read aloud from sacred liturgies. Offerings of piglets were made at the shrine of Demeter, symbolically returning to her some of the bounty she bestowed on her people. Today is an ideal opportunity to work magic for women’s rights. You might send energy to a woman who is running for office, or donate money to a women’s organization. Hold a prayer circle for victims of domestic violence. Honor the Goddess as manifest in the women you know. Wear red and purple, and decorate your altar with flowers in those colors.

Tree Magic
Color of the day: Purple Incense of the day: Mint
Autumn is a perfect time to explore the beauty of the forest. Use this season of transformation and introspection to connect with the wisdom and power of the tree spirits, who display their inner fire at this time of the turning wheel. Once you have found a tree you feel deeply connected with, sit at the base of the tree and connect with your center of power. Envision yourself seated at the base of Ygdrassil, the world tree of the Norse, and repeat this charm to work with its power:
Tree whose branches Reach Heaven and Earth, Tree of three roots, Supporting the ash. Beneath the third root In the land of frost The spring of wisdom And understanding. May my roots extend Into the Earth, May my branches reach Toward the skies, May the power of three Bless all I do, As I drink from the well, As I drink from the well.

Turquoise Wealth Charm
Color of the day: Topaz Incense of the day: Bay laurel
Many cultures have valued turquoise for its beauty and its properties of protection and attracting wealth. It can be used in several ways to draw prosperity into your life. Perform this rite a few days after the New Moon, when the crescent is visible in the sky. Avoid looking at the Moon until the proper time. Hold a piece of turquoise in your hand. Visualize your magical need—money—manifesting in your life. Move outside and gaze upon the Moon. Then directly shift your gaze to the turquoise. With that action, the spell has begun. Carry the stone with you until the money arrives.

Thor's Hammer Spell
Color of the day: Green Incense of the day: Balsam
Today is the Feast of Thor. Well, this worked out nicely. This date falls on a Thursday, the day of the week that is named after Thor. Thor is a popular Norse god, whom the people call on for protection and to be blessed with fertility and abundance. Today you have a perfect opportunity to work magic for prosperity with Thor. However, since this festival day falls on a waning Moon, this spell calls for the removal of worry and monetary problems. This spell will hammer out any problems for you quite nicely.
Under this steamy August evening’s waning Moon, Thor, remove all blocks to my prosperity soon. I call instead for prosperity true, Thor, please guard and protect all that I do.

To Release Worry
Color of the day: Yellow Incense of the day: Honeysuckle
We each have stresses and worries we deal with each day. To release them and feel carefree, collect the following items: a fan (or you can do this outside on a windy day), a tray or cookie sheet, and enough sand to fill the tray. With your finger or a stick, write your worries in the sand. You can write a sentence or just a single word. Then, allow the wind to blow them away, or use a fan. Repeat as desired, with the following words:
Element of air, Take away my cares, Blow them far away. Help me not worry About the little things Each day. Free my mind from stress, Set me free. As I will, so mote it be.

A Tree Power Spell
Color of the day: Indigo Incense of the day: Sage
Trees are ancient beings. They are keepers of the life force. They receive nourishment from Mother Earth and Father Sun. To gain power from a tree and to receive the same magical energy which they possess, remove three hairs from your head and tie them together with ordinary garden twine. Go to a wooded area where you won’t be disturbed. Walk around until you find a tree you’re attracted to. It should represent the powers you’re looking for: a pine tree for longevity, or an oak tree for strength, etc. Tie your bundle of hair to a longer piece of twine. Wrap the twine about the tree trunk and tie as you say, “With hair and twine, my strength is yours, and your strength is mine.?You and your sacred tree are now bound, from toe to crown.

Take Me Away Ritual
Color of the day: White Incense of the day: Lavender
Need to get away for a vacation, but obstacles keep jumping in your way? Try this simple ritual for the next seven days and see if your travel luck improves. Simply brew yourself a cup of coffee containing roasted chicory. It doesn’t matter if the coffee is instant, ground, or whole bean, although whole bean that you grind yourself would pack more oomph. It also doesn’t matter if it’s decaf or not. The important thing is the chicory. As you drink your coffee, imagine yourself on a relaxing vacation. Scatter the coffee grounds outside.

Teacher Magic
Color of the day: Rose Incense of the day: Jasmine
On this day a teacher is honored for his beliefs and his teachings. His beliefs in peace and love were deep seated, and when we read through the accounts of his teachings, we see that he lived by his word. Take time on this day to reflect on other teachings of love and peace by teachers who walk in the world today. There are many modern-day teachers of this message, such as the Dalai Lama. Look at how love and peace can be part of the spiritual path you follow. How can you achieve peace and love in your own life?
