It started raining yesterday, at first just a drizzle, then harder, but nothing violent, but it hasn't stopped.
Everything outdoors previously thickly covered in gray silty dust, is now sloppy with mud.
The clouds seem only a few feet overhead and everyone is now panicking about flooding.
The new people in your village have barely had a chance to acclimate to their new surroundings and have now been cooped up in their living quarters and are getting restless.
Animals still need to be cared for, chores still need to be done, wood gathered, clean water prepared for the increased number of folks, and few of them have skills and fewer of them have patience to follow orders.
You are the leader of your Village.....
WHAT DO YOU DO?
Well it has been hard getting people to do what needs to be done, but with a little motavation everything has worked out. I have placed people doing things that they like to do and then what is left we split with everyone so we all have something we like to do as well as things that we might note like as well. We have cut and gathersed enough wood for several days and lugged and boiled water for every family for 2 days. I know we need to get together and find away to teach are children and I have asked everyone to go through their books and see what they can come up with. Knowing the world will never be the same, and don't want it to go back to the world we had, I suggested we teach about life in a new way. To love and clean up the mother earh we live on and depend on her gifts to get us through. So the tasks begin. |
