This new page came about because I recently found a room in a motorway service station that was set aside as a quiet place. It had a cross and showed the direction of Mecca. There was a chair and a prayer mat, subdued lighting and an aura of tranquility. Yesterday I lost a good friend whom I have known since he was 6, he died of a heart attack. I was there when his parents were given the news. I know how I feel cannot be a tiny piece of their pain and distress. Crazy Friends has shown on many occasions how caring it can be. We have many faiths and none. If it helps to put a few lines in here, and for others to read and pray or meditate and think about what others are feeling then that surely is no bad thing. Please feel free to use this to post and ask others to join you mentally in facing whatever assails you in life. No need to go into detail, maybe just the words ' A Private Intention' is enough. They say faith can move mountains, maybe it can, but knowing that others have spent a moment in quiet reflection with you can be no bad thing. Whatever you believe in I hope this place brings you comfort. |

Hi azzilo, I only just saw your posting so apologies for the late reply. I pray but unfortunately usually when I need something, sometimes but not often enough to give thanks for the blessings and good things I have received. I do believe in the power of prayer to whatever God or supreme being you believe in. I am minded of a negro saying that I often quote to myself in times of trouble: 'Lord, there ain't nuthin, no problem big enough, nor setback wide enough, that you and me Lord, can't lick together'. |

Ock, even though these wishes may not be near the time of need, I would still wish to give my support if at any time you wish to share your feelings of loss. Understand that void as I too, am now experiencing it, but am not wishing to bend in my direciton here. They say that life is short, but that we love it and those that we meet during the experience we have. Loss is not easy, but gives us a time to reflect upon the good times, and wish our dearest and closest, a good journey into the far beyond. They will be with us forever in our hearts, and we can speak to them when ever we wish through the love of heart we share with them. The quote you entered upon your last response, I dearly love and will treasure. It is helping me presently as well. |

Allow the love of God to flow in over you,but then allow it to flow out again for others- like the sea. Peace and bright blessings to all. |

As Stripey, I'd like to place here the memories I have of my father and mother, Tigee and Tignatard, who were shot, skinned and trophied for 'sport' in May 1980. And for my darling wife, Frances Mace, who died in the line of duty as a crimefighter on October 18, 1998. As Christopher, I'd like to place here the memories of my dear friend Trevor Clark - The Hitchhiker of www.thedoors.com/DCHAT.html - who helped me with free advice on many occasions. And for my Gran, Muriel Mace, who died in May 2001 aged 79 of "old age". . |

May all the poeple who have died rest in Allah's gates of heaven and may those who are not at peace one-day be freed from their place of torment. I believe Allah loves all his people and sends love to all those who know and love him. Candy Girl |
