Hahaha, Avi, they're hardly what I'd call representative of that genre - where's the screaming? lol  They're not planning to do a restricted night though, really, are they? I hate it when they restrict themselves to ONE artist's work. A whole genre, fine, but just one person? Barry Manilows of the world are quite rare.... |

May 1st and 2nd... it's the only good thing about this season.  Gina had said she was looking forward to it and was going to sing Living on Prayer - thank God she's gone.  |

Awww, I liked Gina! A lot! I love rocker types and this time they actually had one who could sing! (as opposed to Nikki and her ilk, lol) (meaning the girls, duh!) Honestly, I can't see any of the remaining contestants singing that type of rock successfully. Well, Melinda can do anything she wants to, lol. And Jordin is really coming into her own as well. So we'll see... Is Phil still on this show, lol? |

I bet Blake could do some really cute rap thing to unskinny bop. hmmm....
I see Timberfake doing "High Enough" by Damn Yankess, since he likes to destroy the beautiful classics so much.
Too bad "Alone" by Heart has already been done, i would have liked to see Melinda tackle that. Maybe "Love of a Lifetime." I could see her doing that.
I want to see Lakisha do "18 & Life" by Skid Row, cause I think she could realy nail those super high notes. |
