In the LFL section, I copied Torty's post from the other loft, to this one.

I think its just a matter of respect to get someones permission before copying one of their posts to another board. Unless maybe its just copying a joke or something. But anything personal they should have the right to decide who they share it with and who they don't.

Oh that football stuff is nothing, breeze, lol. I think a whole lot of posts are benign enough that sharing them in other places is no big deal....although I heard there could be legal ramifications connected to copying posts from private boards and posting them elsewhere - I don't know anything about this and will have to find out more. IMHO, sharing a benign post (like a joke, or football scores, or even movie reviews) isn't a big deal at all. Obviously sharing your own stuff from elsewhere is fine as well.
