Eviction Notice May Have Led To Shooting

Police say an eviction notice may have been what prompted a Pennsylvania man to shoot his landlord on Monday.

Michael Osgood, 59, was shot to death outside of a home on East Avenue in Wellsboro. Police arrested David Conson, 62, at the scene. They say he shot Osgood while he was in the process of posting an eviction notice on his back door.

Conson has been charged with criminal homicide. He is due back in court on Friday.

I'm afraid we're only going to see more crime as the declining economy hits more and more people where it hurts, many of whom will be nearly out of their minds in panic and will resort to things they otherwise would never consider.

Also, I'm very glad we decided not to play 'landlord', lol.
