It will undoubtedly be David Weir for the rest of the season if Ferguson goes, and possibly we could wait and see who comes to the fore between now and next season. Thomson was captain of Hibernian, so if he can get himself fit for the start of next season he would undoubtedly be a candidate in my book. We miss him more than many people realise.
