HOW TO ADD A BACKGROUND TO YOUR MESSAGES 1. You will need to save your chosen picture to your pictures or just go over to Documents on the side board. (you do not need to do this if you just want to add a colour.. go to 3) 2. Right click on picture if they are in your picture section and click on properties. Highlight the http address and right click and copy. close this box by clicking ok. You can just highlight and copy the URL if you choose Documents. 3. Go to your chosen board and open up reply box as normal. Now there is a small box that looks like a graph, its next to the world!! Click on that, it will bring you up a box. on that box it says rows and colums ... these numbers will be 2, change them both to 1. Once you have done that click on padding and spacing. You can choose any number for these but 10 is a good size. So change them both to 10. now click on background, if you have decided you only want a colour as a background just pick one!!!.. If you want to add a picture first click in the top url box, then hold down your ctrl key and push the letter v. This will add the address to the box . Now click on the insert table button and you should have a small box on your page. 4. You can now click in this box and type or you can add pictures in the normal way. (make sure u are in the box first, otherwise it will add your text or pictures to the outside) The colour will streatch accross the screen as you type . For a better look you need to do this ....... at the bottom of the box there is the choice to use html. Making sure your cursor is in the colour box, click on this html box . You will now have a load of text on your screen, after the part that says cell padding=10.. Place your mouse and click .. leave a space and type this width="100%" then push the space bar again. Once you have done this, unclick the html box at the bottom and your colour/picture will have gone full size across the page. Place your cursor in the box and type your message or add pictures as normal. 5. I hope this made sense and don't worry it might sound bad, but you will soon pick it up. 6. Once you have done all that you might need some back grounds to use , so I have posted a few for you. Right click on the link below and don't be shy to use what is there. 7. As not to lose any storage space, please refer to the side panel or right click above on storage space, on instructions on how to save storage space. DOCUMENTS |
