Owl
There are very few Native tribes, (tribes and not Nations), that have a deathly fear of the owl. The Apache Nation is a perfect example. The Nation as a whole does not fear the owl and, in fact, some wore owl feathers on their clothing and headdresses. It is the Mescalero that fears the owl. I know a Mescalero medicine woman (a real, practicing medicine woman) who is so terrified of the owl she does a special ceremony if she even sees a photo of one.
This apparently comes from the beliefs of these various tribes, few as they are, that the owl carries the spirit of the recently deceased to the Great Spirit. Thus, the death messenger. The sound of an owl makes these people stop in their tracks. The sight of one is enough to scare them and, heaven forbid, if one flew at them, they would surely die of fright.

As a totem, owl medicine, as I said last night, is a feminine trait. It is at home, and comfortable, in the night. It has great awareness of all that is around it at all times. It has predator vision, which means it sees clearly what it looks at. It has great intuition; it is the totem of psychics and clairvoyants. It has the courage to follow its instincts. It is a meat eater, which means it can be a fierce warrior if challenged, or if something dear to it is threatened.

Owls come in all sizes from a tiny miniature that actually lives inside the cactus in the desert, to the great horned owl, which is the only bird that can out fly, the golden eagle. A fully-grown great horned is an awe-inspiring creature. Its talons are furry, and closely resemble the paws of a baby mountain lion with claws extended.

Owl medicine is wonderful to have. Those who carry it cannot be conned because their vision shows them the truth of the situation.

Nothing to fear in my Owl she is the Great Horned and I met her on my front porch right before I knew I was going to have my baby she is a gift.....

Hi Friends,

I think you all have heard this story before.  Two weeks before my grandson was born a blue jay came to me.  I was sitting on my second story porch and he just came and walk right into my hand.  He then walked up my arm and on my head.  I was in shock and loving every second of it.  About that time my husband came to the door screen and was looking out like WTH and I was like heck if I know.  Well any way he was just the cutiest thing I ever saw.  Well over the two week that he came every day on and off and even knew where I was in the house .  Like in the am he would come to my side of the bed and be at that window.  He would come and sit on my grill and look though and be sitting looking in for me lollllll.  I would always go out side and feed him and he would eat out of my hands.  I do have pictures to prove this lolllllll.   He let me give him a bath and well it was just awesome.  But after my grandson was born he didn't come any more.  It was a beautiful and one of the best gifts I have ever had on this earth.

Love Skybolt,  Hope all is well with everyone.

Blue Jays
Blue jays, like their cousins, the crows, are fiercely protective of their own. A domestic cat will sometimes take advantage of that fact.
If a cat can pin down a blue jay by one wing, while the bird struggles to get away, the whole flock will come to defend it. The other jays will swoop in, one by one, trying to force the cat to let go. The cat can then kill many blue jays while keeping the original jay alive as a hostage. That has actually happened.
For an animist or shaman, that protectiveness means that the spirit of Blue Jay, if willing, can be called upon as a protector of home and family.

Blue jays are beautiful animals and they can make many different sounds.

HI lol I guess this is what you wanted to tell me lolllllll.

That is so cool,  we he can take care of me all he wants.  But as his mama as he calls me lol...I always keep him safe and try to show him how much I do love him and he is a gift in my life for sure.

I never knew Blue Jays were so special as well.  I just always loved them and thought how beautiful they really are.  I love all animals more than most people lol.  I think my spirit animal however is a deer .  They come to me in my dreams and talk to me all the time.  So of course I feed them everynight and always have mommas with their babies and the the bucks come laster on in the night time.  I can open my door and talk to them while they eat lol.

Not to long ago I came home to a very ill deer and she was laying at my door she couldn't stand.  I wanted to save her so bad but it was to late and have no idea how she came to be there.  I tried to get her to drink or eat but she couldn't even walk.  Still don't know how she made it to me door.  So we talked and hugged for a bit and I told her she would be in a better place soon.  I then had to leave and drive away I was crying so bad and the police came and put her down for me.  Terrible but special too.  She was suffering for so long.   I wish I would have found her sooner ya know.  Any who just a little bit more animals stories I have.   Lots more where that came from lol...
I send ya a pic of my blue lol he was soooooooo cute .

Love Skybolt,

Animals can understand a sort of 'radiation' as can plants.  Who knows maybe even the crystals can understand the radiation.

Human beings at some point in the distant past were able to communicate with and understand the radiation.  But we lost this ability as is indicated in the 'tower of Babel' event in the bible.

In the story Nimrod tries to build a tower that reaches up to the heavens and God takes exception about this.  So God says 'let us confuse their speach'.

Notice Nimrod is the hero of the Knights Templar who are still confused to this day.

There have been people throughout history and even today who can still understand the radiation and 'talk' to the animals.

St. Francis Of Assisi was one.  Sondra Fitzpatrick, the 'pet psychic', is another.

Animals can pick up on their owners' feelings and things like that.  They understand more than some people perhaps realize.

There was an interesting case on the CBS Evening News awhile ago about this cat who lives in a nursing home.  The cat can sense when someone is about to die and it goes and keeps them company until they pass away.

It is well documented that animals such as elephants and dolphins communicate using various sounds and forms of radiation.

This perhaps makes it all the more horrible when we see what happens to animals in this world and how some people have no regard for their feelings.

In a war the human being becomes the hunted.
