I've been musing lately that spirituality really cannot be 'taught'... it simply must be 'caught', rather like a viral infection... and because there is no cure, it must run its' course! That course, of course, leads to Self, then God Realization!
Souls that have reached some degree of maturity come into this life with this spiritual viral infection... and those around them are apt to be infected by them! Sometimes dis-ease of the bodily circumstances is cured by finding a teacher who infects them with this virus --- which is the overwhelming love of the Divine aspect of the Self!
When the fire of Spirit is kindled within the heart one is litterally 'on fire' with what is being poured into their vessel by Spirit... yet if this vessel or cup is held upwards and not shared - it fills and becomes stagnant... we must turn our cup sideways to allow a constant flow of spirit to fill and overflow onto those we encounter daily... this sharing of the wisdom of soul is contagious to those who are ready for it!!
This viral infection sparks and ignites a passion in others to question who and what they really are... which is Soul! Then when the questions begin... there arises the opportunity for Spirit to enter the consciousness of the questioner and infect them!
Would it not be wonderful if all those infected as carriers of this virus... spreads this wonderfully contagious love to everyone whose immune (resistance to Truth) system has been cleverly compromised by Spirit?
