Setting your Intention I know what I desire, and I set my intention. Setting your intention plays a very key role in the manifestation process. You must set your intent, and carry on as though it has already manifested. And then remember, always remember, to be grateful once it does. In fact, even before it does. Daydreams and make-believe are vagrant wispy thoughts that play through our minds like unfinished stories, until and unless we focus on them, flesh them out, give them a beginning, a middle and an end, and make them real with our intent. What chases all of this away - what negates your intention - are your self-doubts. They are those little voices that creep into your head, and the conversation goes something like this: "It won't happen." "That's impossible" "It's never been done before" "Miracles don't happen to me" "I'm not good enough." Well, guess what. Miracles happen to everyone. Since you are a miracle and so is everything else around you, don't insult your Creator. Trust in the gift that you are, and act upon the gifts you have been given - those gifts are the ability to manifest and create anything out of seemingly nothing. Because you are doing it all day long anyway. You might not like what you have created or manifested. But you are doing it. Why not train your thoughts, harness this creative power that you have, and let it work for you, not against you? Set your intent. Be the wondrous being that you are. Step into the shoes that are waiting for you to wear, given to you by Mother-Father God. These shoes were made for you. Own them now, because they're yours, and once you put them on, there's nothing that you cannot do. Your heart knows that this is Truth. Namaste ©2004 Your Daily Affirmation & Two Ravens Inc |
