Perhaps someone can figure out where my cat went. She's been missing for several days now. Her name is Topi and she was born in May 1998 and we got her as a kitten. She's got her collar and tags on - has had them on for years. She's black/dark brown with lighter brown spots (some people call her a tortoise cat). I have an ad in the lost & found section of the newspaper and will probably print flyers at work tomorrow to hang around the neighborhood. We love and miss her and are completely stumped at where she could be or what's happened to her. Animal control has no reports of any dead cats to be picked up and the pound has no cats fitting her description that were brought in. We are stumped. If I only knew if she were alive or dead, that would stop half the worry. It feels odd now that I had my 3 kitties and now I only have 2. If anyone can help, please do...thanks, DeniseNH |

Denise, The information I received was that Topi was injured but is holed up someplace recovering. Says she will be fine in time. I tried to get info on where she is but she only showed me a dark area where she is resting. Paul |

Thank you Paul. Do you know if she's in a wooded area or if she's farther away from the house in a yard? We have woods behind us with lots of burrows from other animals and she could be in one of them. I can look around more this weekend and bring my flashlight. Denise NH |

Paul, I also forgot to ask - can you tell if she's being fed or getting food somehow, or is it just too late? DeniseNH |

From the information Topi is giving me I think she is in a wooded area and there is a road within hearing distance. She is weak. I am not sure about food or water. Paul |

We are in a typical neighborhood - streets and houses. Because we are in New Hampshire, there are wooded areas everywhere. I do have a large wooded piece of conservation land behind my house. I checked there this morning for a while until I could go no further because of density. I walked around the block she was known to go down but I can't hear her calling me and of course I can't see her from the road. I do have an ad in the local paper at least. Most of my neighbors have animals so they are most kind when we talked with them. At this point, the weather is in the 40's now and the rain has pelted down 2 or 3 days this past week. I am going to say it's too late to save her if she's even still alive. I hope God takes her peacefully and she gets to cross rainbow bridge and I really hope she understands that I looked for her the best I could. Paul, thank you very much for your help. If possible, any help you can give to find her body to bring her home to bury would be most appreciated. I will look for her still anyway. She's a good little kitty. DeniseNH |

I never found Topi and was wondering if there were any further updates someone can give me? If she's passed on, can we get a message to her still? Just that we love her and are sorry she is not here with us. Sometimes I wonder if she wandered into one of the worker's trucks that was working on our house at the time, got locked in the back with the tools when they drove away, then jumped out in a new neighborhood when they stopped. Other times I think she just to taken by a fishercat or just got clipped by a car. Any new news? DeniseNH |
