~Welcome~   If you are a new member and just joining us, or even if you’ve been with us for a bit of time but wish to know more about our boards, this is the page for you. First of all, let me welcome you and say how glad we all are to have you with us. It’s our fondest wish that you’ll truly enjoy being a part of this group and find many wonderful friends amongst us. The discussion boards are here for your enjoyment, to learn from as well as to share your knowledge and experience with us as well. If you haven’t done so already, please take a few moments to go through our other pages, particularly, the pages dealing with understanding readings, chatroom rules, readers and our disclaimer page. It’s very important that you understand how this group works before you jump into enjoying it. That way, there will be few misunderstandings and both you and everyone else will be quite at ease with each other. It’s my hope that everyone feels at home and at ease. As mentioned above, there are already pages (left hand side of your screen) that detail other operations of this site and what to expect and not expect however, the most used feature of this site are the discussion boards. There are boards set up for possibly every purpose that you can think of. Everything from the paranormal to a board where you can feel free to discuss any topic that you’d like outside of the paranormal realm and still be "on topic"! Take a look through them all by going down the list of pages and entering the different boards by the links provided on that page. There are a few things that you should know before you start posting that I’d like to make mention of here. While we try to repond to each and every post, we cannot always do so in a timely fashion. Please be patient and understand that it is NO reflection on you whatsoever! It is simply a time constraint issue and nothing more. You are as valued as anyone else in here! Secondly, many members post requests of differing sorts and request an answer in one fashion or another. Again, we try our very best to answer those questions to the very best of our ability, in the quickest possible amount of time. However, there are times when we just simply may not have an answer for you at that point in time. If your question is not answered, it is because we either simply have not had the time yet, or because we don’t have an answer to give to you at that point. Again, it is NOT personal! We are not ignoring you! The reading request board was put up as a place to ask a quick question and while I know that it’s difficult to decipher whether your question is "quick" or not, please understand that there are certain questions that while they are quick to ask, are not quick to answer and may require that you meet one of us in the chatroom as they require more detailed energies to respond. We will tell you so if we cannot answer them on the board and it’s completely your choice as to whether you decide to follow it up by coming into the chatroom on a Friday or Tuesday evening. The registered readers listed on the readers page are not the only readers in this site. There are many very talented members who are quite capable of giving you insight through their various methods of reading. If you are not answered by one of the recognized readers, or myself, please understand that those registered cannot read for everyone and you are more than likely receiving help from one of our members who are developing their skills. Consider it a blessing that they’ve taken their time to help you. But, please, before you request any reading or participate in this site, read our disclaimer! The same also holds true for all posts in general. It will not always be possible for myself or one of the registered readers to respond to your posts personally. That is the reason that we have so many other talented and knowledgeable members here. Everyone in here has some knowledge to share with everyone else. Having another member answer your posts is a blessing as there are many very wonderful people to get to know and share with. Friendships abound in here. You’ll find someone that you will end up calling a friend! I guarantee it! Finally, none of us are all-knowing. There will more than likely be questions that you may ask that we simply don’t and won’t have answers to. While we will do all that we can to seek out answers for you, please understand that a non-answer or an answer that is simply an "opinion" is all that we can do. Again, while we try to answer all that we can some things are not able to be known and you’ll get opinions instead. Some will come from myself but, most will be from other members. I hope that you, in turn, will share your knowledge with others as well for we are teaching and learning from and with each other. PLEASE NOTE: None of us in here are professionally trained counsellors in any way. If you are having difficulty in dealing with certain issues in your life and are depressed or grieving severely, and especially if you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, you should be seeking out professional counselling and not requesting a reading.
