A cat I look after recently disappeared (the day after the owners got back).   She may have been feral originally, they aren't sure...she lived in the back yard when they moved into the house and they've cared for her ever since.  I suspect she was a stray or just became used to staying outside and it's no longer clear who owned her originally.  She is very sweet and seemed to have been fixed, since they hadn't experienced her going into heat.

She was used to being outside every night, and earlier this week she didn't reappear for breakfast.  The family is very distraught.  Unfortunately I know we have coyotes around here, and alot of cats and small dogs go missing. I hope that's not what happened.

Can anyone pick anything up on this girl?

Thanks!
Linda

Hi Linda,
Can you tell me the cat's name? I tried to contact her and I did see a cat for a moment but all I got was a stare, no answers to my/your questions and truthfully not even a confirmation of who she was.
I will be happy to try again but need something to allow me to confirm her.

Thanks,
Paul

Interesting...I wonder if that's because she was a "pseudo-stray".   The name the "new" home-owners gave her would have been different from her first given name.

She's now called "Emma".

Hi Linda,
Could be the situation. I managed to contact Emma, but she won't talk with me. She was on the move, in good condition and seemingly doing well. Sorry, but I can't get any more from her. Perhaps I can try again later.
