Paul we just adopted the sweetest queensland healer you can imagine.  I know this breed is suppose to be hyper but she is so mellow you would not believe it. we got her so she could go to work with my husband everyday and chase the geese so that they will eventually leave .  she seems to have a problem understanding it is ok to run and chase them . She also does not play AT ALL  not matter what toys I have bought her . she I  know was abused in her previous life but dont know anything else . how about it can you contact her and let her know it is ok to run and play and yes even chase the geese lol

I dearly love her and will love her regardless but I want her to have some fun in life .

Love Wolfie

Yes, she was abused or perhaps I should say badly treated in teh past. The things you want her to do were the sort of things she was "fussed" at for doing. She does not have a lot of self esteem. I get the image of her cringing a lot. She just doesn't understand.
She may never play with toys but if you continue to work with her and encourage her she will be a great companion to you and learn to do many things. I am telling her that you and your husband will talk to her about what you want her to do and will continue to help her.

Thanks Paul

Yes she definately was treated badly in her past . but all that is in the past . She is learning to enjoy life .
she goes to work everyday with my husband and has a ball doing her job. and last weekend we taught her about road trips and snow , she is the perfect addition to our family. Yes a bit shy but she is enjoying being spoiled and loved. and she is definately as good for my husband as he is for her the perfect match. and yes we do talk to her a lot and tell her whats going on. I also know that two dogs that were members of our family before going to the rainbow bridge have visited with her and are helping her .

thanks again Love Wolfie
