Hello. Maybe you could help me - I would be most appreciative!

I had a german shepherd named Bandit. He is 5 years old, and a gorgeous dog. Due to several reasons, we had to surrender him, and found a great family to adopt him, which was back earlier this year. Can you tell me if the move was a good one, and is he happy? I think of him and wonder if he is "ok".
