Thank you all for your wonderful birthday wishes!  I did have a very enjoyable birthday and was able to go out to dinner with my kids last night.  My boss and co-workers even sang happy birthday to me!  I have such wonderful souls surrounding me...

I hope you and your family were ok after the earthquake and Tsunami scare.  My friends in San Diego were a bit worked up too!  That's one thing I don't miss, the earthquakes.  Don't know which is worse, CA earthquakes or Mid-West tornados! 

 

I was great chatting with you on Tues. nite.  Hope to "see" you tomorrow nite!

Hi Gail,

glad you had a nice birthday!

Remember I had to get off really quickly to answer the phone, and it was my daughter telling me about the earth quake? Well, about 5 minutes later the tsunami warning came onto the tv and we had to get out. We live about 3 minutes from the bay and at sea level so we had to go to higher ground until it cleared. It was quite an adrenaline rush. LOl.

 The earthquake was mild at our place yet stronger at my oldest daughter's house. We also live about an hour and a half away from Crescent City where the big Tsunami hit in '64. I remember it because we lived in Fort Bragg (about 3 hours south of Eureka) and the beaches were changed quite a bit. Wood was washed up everywhere and 11 people lost their lives in Crescent City.

So that's my story. LOL

So, maybe I'll "see" ya friday in the chat. I'm sure I'll make it for a while.
